On Location Tours

A really enjoyable afternoon. Not just a chance to see the scenes from the programme but also a chance to see the city itself.

would give moderate recommendation. tour pretty much as expected. thought the 25mins at the pleasure chest was a waste of time. would have preferred to spend time at other locations. loved the cupcakes!!

Tour guide was very funny, informative & friendly. Thought having the video clips in the coach was a good idea. Cosmopolitan was very tasty!! Would definitlely recommend the tour!

If I had seen a tour synopsis I would not have gone on it. Perhaps there is one available, and I just didnt see it,or ask to see it, but having enjoyed the show back home in England and heard a tour was available showing all the locations on the set, I decided to go on it and made the booking by phone. I'm in my mid fifties and immediately felt uncomfortable when I realised everyone was a lot, lot younger. When the tour director then asked how many penises were on board, I felt this wasnt going to be for me . At the first stop...a sex toy shop, I just went for a long walk on my own! At another stop we were expected to buy from a certain store (styles too young and expensive for me, and I didnt want to be forced to spend from there..so another walk). Another stop involved buying our own campo. At the end the tour director virtually asked for tips. Some people on the tour must have ended up spending quite a lot!! The sexual content/innuendo on the tour was quite strong, and I have no problem with this if such a fact is advertised in advance...I had thought it was just a "locations" tour. What is made funny by good actors on TV is often not so when grouped with strangers on a wet day in a tour bus! It wasnt all bad..we saw the locations which was good,we had a nice bun to eat (free) and during my unsceduled walks I managed to see something of Chinatown and Greenwich Village! I'm sure it would have appealed to the younger ones , though whether they were aware of the shopping element of the tour, again depends on the promotion, which I would reiterate, is of paramount importance.

I really enjoyed it alot. I thought our guide was very informative. I like the free cupcakes, but it would have been better if the cosmos were free! also maybe a little more shopping time

Very good guide....sassy in the spirit of the show. The trip was well worth the $37. Had a good time

I totally love Sex and the City and it was fabulous to go to all the places the girls go to and you almost feel like one of them.

Good to see the locations used on set and as a 'New York Novice', it was great to see areas of the city that we may not immediately have thought of going to. We actually based some of our subsequent holiday activities in the areas we visited on the tour which we would not have done otherwise. It was great to get our photos on Carrie's stoop, drink a Cosmopolitan and get a delicious cakefrom Magnolia Bakery where we went back to purchase more cakes later!

entertaining concept, excellent guide, sometimes a bit to much pressure ("pour down your cosmos..."), preferrably for native speakers only alternatively simultaneous translation appreciated. a hint on this in the ad would help...

It was excellent. The little extra's like the cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery and the cosmos at Aidan's bar were awesome treats. I would highly recommend this tour.

Right after I had bought my tickets, i read a review about the SATC Tour from a customer and it completely turned me down so I wasn't really expecting too much from the trip, but as the trip went on I realized that the person who wrote that review had probably never seen one single episode of SATC ever! I was on vacation to NYC for a week and it was really worth it. Keep up the good work!

It was a really good time! We really enjoyed the guide, she was fun and sassy. We have already recommended it to a few big Sex and the City fans because it's so much fun to see all the places the girls have gone!

It was a good tour but there was insufficient time to view and take photos on the tour when you didnt stop to get off the bus i.e. when you slowed down to pass a particular site of interest. Apart from that the guide was great and all round a good tour for Sopranos fans
