Sex and the City Hotspots

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Amy, our tour guide, was very entertaining and it was great fun to look at all the film locations of our favourite show! It was also interesting to hear some of the gossip about the stars and the characters they played. The cupcakes were a particular winner, and as this is the second time my daughter has gone on this particular tour, you must be doing something right!

It was a nice way to see New York, and it's definitely more interesting watching SATC now that I have seen so many of the locations used in the show.

My mother and I, both huge fans of the show, went on this tour last Tuesday and had a great time! Lindsey was our leader and she was enthusiastic, funny and very knowledgeable about the show. We learned so much about not only the show, but the characters, the people who play the characters, other hit New York based shows, and the city as a whole. The tour was very nicely done and fit in well with the show! I would recommend it to any fan of the show!

tour guide really got us in the spirit of sex and city. glad we didn't have to walk to much and air was nice in bus. tour guide was entertaining, talented, and funny. i would def. go on same tour again if not others by this company. thanks for a nice day!! angel shands

Very knowledgable tour guide!

Our guide was excellent, experienced and the combination of film viewing after and before the actual sites was well balanced. However, we we missing some glamour in the trip. We would have been willing to pay a bit more to have the cup cake eaten in the cafe itself. Maybe to meet with Carrie (or look a like). And to have a smaller group with the guide.

We booked our tour somewhat last minute but with huge excitement and interest. My girlfriend and I are sex and the city enthusiasts, never missing an episode. We were hyped to go but from the moment we stepped on the bus our excitement went from a 10 to a 2. The Pros: Our tour guide was great. She was very informative, friendly and full of energy and charisma. She was always willing to take out picture and really made the tour fun! The added benefit of the DVD prior to stopping was great because it really helped jog our memories. The Cons: Now before I list the cons I want to say that I am a really laid back person. I am not one of those constant complainers who can never find good in anything. I had a good time on the tour thanks to the company and our guide, but the tour could have been so much better in my opinion and that is why I am voicing my opinion now (which for the record is very unlike me.) So for the Cons: 1. The bus doesn't drop off at the same place as pick up and as far as I know it doesn't state this on the email provided. We had to walk 50 blocks from the HBO store ALL the way back to the pick up point because we had people waiting there. 2. Some of the sights were not driven right by. We were expected to look down a side street, through trees for a banner or a sign or to "take her word". 3. We were disappointed in the lack of stops. It would have been nicer to get out at more places 4. We never went to Carrie's Brownstone. We didn't drive by the street, down the street or make any mention of it. We didn't go by Charlotte, Miranda, or Samantha's homes or general areas. The only thing we really wanted pictures of was Carrie's apartment, or at least the street so we could go by later if the bus was unable to go down it. It was the biggest disappointment. 5. We didn't go near any expensive shoe stores. The girls were shoe fanatics and we stopped nowhere where shoes were even sold!!! Manolo Blahnik became a household name because of SATC and we didn't even see a store or a place to get them! I was expecting a Sex and the City tour of hotspots and what I got was a Sex and the City sneakpreview that left us cold and disappointed. At the end of the day all I remember from the tour is that we had a stale cupcake, a ten dollar cosmo and we drove by some restaurants. I have been home less then a week and when people ask me what I did in NYC I don't even remember to say I went on a SATC tour because I was so underwhelmed it completely slips my head as something I did. I think the tour had so much potential...and really ended up being a waste of 40 dollars.

Lo was a very good guide, she knew alot about the subject!
