For non-show fans as well!

My 3 teenage daughters and I went on the Sex and the City Tour. I personally don't watch the show but my three daughters (one especially) are fans. I enjoyed the tour as much as they did but for different reasons. I loved the tour of Manhattan broken down into its different sections. It gave me a sense of location to be able to go out on my own later and explore. My daughters loved seeing all the different locations relating to the show, especially Carrie's apartment. One of my favorite photos is that of the 4 of us drinking virgin cosmopolitans in the bar. The tour guide (Mame) was great. She was enthusiastic, funny and knowledgeable. It's a great way to start off seeing the city of New York and if you're a fan of the show, it's fun to see all the locations.

Couldn't have been more disappointed!!!

Due to construction in the area (the Plaza Hotel is under construction) we missed the tour bus by 8 minutes. We were so disappointed to learn that every tour was booked the rest of the week, especially because I paid ahead of time for the tickets and the tickets were one of my daughter's Christmas presents. We're home now and everyone keeps asking us about the tour b/c we spoke so much about it before we left.....is there any chance of getting a refund? I could use the money to buy her something for her gift. Thanks a million!!! Karen Rauer

was an excellent tour, fantastic really enjoyed it. The cup cakes were a nice touch. Tour should start during the morning, or lunch time so we can actualy see the locations after 4pm.

Enjoyed the tour. Great tour for a cheap price! Great for first time visitiors to NYC! Cupcakes were included in the price however cosmo not included. Think they should have been included. But other than that, fun tour & recommend it esp to 1st time visitors.

Fun

I did like the tour, because it takes you around the city and you get to see where all the cool shops and restaurants are. Because most of the SITC locations are shot inside you don't really recognize the spots, because you only get to see them from the outside, so that is a bit disappointing. But it was great to sit on Carries doorstep and the cupcakes were a pleasant surprise. I absolutely loved out tourguide Mame, she was adorable, funny and had a lot of inside information. I did the Sopranos tour as well, and i enjoyed it better because the sights are more recognizable, but if you are a SITC fan and it's your first time in New York it's a fun way of seeing New york.

On Carries stoop

It was not only exciting because one gets to see the original locations. It was also moving to watch the respective scenes on a small sceen right after or before passing the site.Lots of the emotional highlights could thus be recalled . Key scenes could be re-enjoyed, and as an extra gift for me as a German viewer, they were in the Original version, and commented by a real SATC lover and connaisseur, Guide Lisa, who made us all feel like at a class reunion, browsing with us through a tree-dimensional photoalbum, laughing, crying, and also noticing, oh, I must have missed this episode, how could that happen. Wonderful child stuff to sit on Carrie's stoop where she had and had not all her goodnight kisses and have Liza make a photo so that we can take this home, what a delight to me and most of the other females who took this chance. A Lot of interesting background information about the shooting and all the main actors were given in between and added to this wonderful three and a half hours.Except from climbing up Empire State Building and walking over Brooklyn Bridge , this was my personal highlight of my NY visit, a wonderful way to be introduced to Manhattan.

I went on this with a couple of girlfriends and loved it this past summer. My brother really wanted to go on it so I went with him this time. I was excited to see that we had the same tour guide Lisa Blythe Perlman she is a riot. Very entertaining.

A good way to see Manhattan, and to more fully experience the "Sex and the City" phenomenon. The tour guide was enthusiastic, and knowledgable of the show and associated trivia.

Modern take on NY Tourism

This tour was a pleasant suprise. I found it thouroughly entertaining and enjoyable. I just had to sit back on the bus and relax as our tour guide provided witty commentary about the series as we visited some of the best locations from the show. Watching the clips on the television screens somehow made it more exciting and more real. It was easily the best tourist attraction I did in New York. The show was and still is part of modern culture so I would recommend experiencing some of its highlights for yourself!
