Fun, new (to me) way to see alot of Manhattan |

This tour took place on a very nice coach bus, our driver was new that very day but still did a great job. This tour took us downtown to the West Village, the Meatpacking District--aka alot of places that most tourists don't get around to seeing--I hadn't really until now.
They played relevant clips of SATC on the monitors which helped-especially since we brought my Dad who doesn't watch. Yeah thats right--I'm 23 and I went on this tour with both my parents. You know how I pulled this off? Our tour guide-Emily didn't MAKE us go into the sex shop. We just chilled outside and went to a deli to get a soda. I appreciated that, we didn't HAVE to do things. So if you have a relative who really wants to go but doesn't want to walk to Carrie's stoop or go into Scout (bar), then thats fine!
Our tour guide also made lots of dinner/club reccomendations-that was interesting.
The only only negative I had was that the bartender at Scout must have assumed we were European tourists and yelled at us that we had to tip her. At first I was very insulted but I got over it when someone reminded me that half the people on the bus were Australian/German/Scottish-and may have needed to be reminded. |

Was a great tour - tour guide very entertaining and enthusiastic! Good fun! Only thing I found was that i was rather hungry during the tour (11 am tour)......as nice as the cup cakes are they dont really fill you up - would be good if the morning tour perhaps had a lite lunch somewhere where they eat from the show??? perhaps the afternoon tour could have a lite dinner from a somewhere from show ???? Apart from that my girlfriend loved it - she is obsessed with the show! |

The tour was lots of fun, with a great tour guide who was informative and funny. The only complaint I have is that it is advirtised that you would get to "sit on Carrie's apartment stoop" and we barely were allowed to stand on the other side of the street. It should not be in the brochure as that, as we were very much looking forward to sitting on the stoop and having our photo taken. Other than that, it was fabulous! |

I am a huge fan of the show and of this tour!! Our tour guide, Amy, was absolutely hilarious!! The tour goes by super fast and features many sites from the show. We also got to see some new sites from the upcoming movie, which was a great bonus! I whole heartedly recommend this to any die hard fan of Sex and the City! |

We thought the tour was "absolf***inglutly" (gotta love Big) great! We had a great time, lots of laughs, and would do it again in a heart beat! One thing....we say start with the cosmos first to break the ice and get people more lively! Drink up! |

As lovers of the show, we were really looking forward to this tour, but it totally exceedeed mine and my daughters expectations! The guide Lisa was amazing. She is a Stand-Up comedien with a real passion for Sex & The City, and had us in stitches the whole time. The bus is equipped with TV screens which show you clips from the show; this is followed by visits to the locations of the filming. During the tour we were regaled with interesting and hilarious anecdotes about the show, the actors and characters, and the upcoming film. Lisa really knew her stuff and answered any questions with ease. There was even a triva quiz on the way back, as well as hints and tips to help with our stay in New York....where to shop and eat etc. The hilights of the day were seeing Carries stoop, eating delicious cupcakes and enjoying a cosmo in Steve and Aidans bar.
All in all this was quite probably the most fun we had in New York.
A word of warning though....this tour is not suitable for young children or people of a particularly sensitive nature, as it is almost as explicit in nature as the show itself. |

The Sex and the City Tour was so much fun. Our tour guide, Lisa, was great and so funny! The cupcakes were awesome and the cosmos at O'Neils were fantastic! It was great seeing the clips from various episodes and then seeing the actual venues! It was the best money we spent in NYC! I'd definitely recommend it to my friends(and already have!) |

Started off as abit of a trivia quiz but I think that was to put everyone at ease. it was good how the tour was done as a combination of useful info about the show with video clips added in. We didnt realise the cup cakes (which were so good we went back for more!) and other extras were included in the price so that was a nice suprise .A great idea if its your first time in New york as you get to see alot of the popular areas by comfort of a coach, however it did feel like a school trip with the regemented time scale and the dont drink, dont eat on the coach rule. A must for all SATC fans and if your not a fan dont! |
