Sex and the City Hotspots

I took my sister in law and 2 of her friends out for her birthday. We're local NYC girls who enjoy taking tours of our own amazing city. We love that we get to see the city through a whole different light on this tour and get to see some amazing little hidden corners. I highly recommend it to locals to try out. It's a great day out with friends.

Amy was fantastic and very funny! Ray was wonderful , our driver. Got to see parts of the city I have not visited in awhile and plan to go back to some of those areas in the future. Could have used more time at Bleeker Street instead of Simple Pleasures. Cosmo was great could have had 2 but not enough time. Stayed on schedule but were late getting started. I would recommend it to a friend.

Great tour! So many fun facts and wahoo the cupcakes and cosmo!!! :) Amy the tour guide was awesome! Recommend!!!!!!! Great way to see the city, you get to see so many parts of it! WAHOOO

AMY was the best guide my friends and I could have ask for. She was so funny and made our experience one to remember. I personally enjoyed the cocktails at O'Neils..

This was a great tour and my friends and I had so much fun! Our tour guide Amy was awesome and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that loves Sex & the City!

I just wish we got to visit more places!!

I am a HUGE Sex and the City fan and was very much looking forward to the tour as part of my first trip to NYC this past May long weekend. Our tour guide (I can't remember her name) was fabulous - funny, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and worked hard to make us all feel comfortable. As for the tour itself, I hate to admit it but I was disappointed :( I was warned by several friends who've done the tour that it has morphed over the years and many of the great sites and aspects to the tours have been chopped due to time contraints and/or complaints from the proprietors of the many now in-famous haunts. Much of our tour consisted of bussing through most of NYC which gave us a great lay-of-the-land but offered very little in terms of actual appreciation of those sites we saw on television. When we did stop (4 stops in total), we had just a tiny window before we had to hop back on the bus again - just not enough time. The three stops we had were The Pleasure Chest (sex toy store) next to the pizza joint where Carrie and Miranda ate pizza after an evening at RAW. By the time we stopped here, we were famished as it was lunch time but we only had 15 minutes! So my friend and I chose a slice of pizza (which was amazing) over touring the toy store :( The second stop was Buddhakan where Big and Carrie had their rehearsal dinner from the first movie. It was techincally closed but the owner allows people through for photo opps. SIDE NOTE: My friend and I decided to make a dinner reservation here the next night since they held a handful of openings for tours - it's high-end all the way, the food was delicious but when they say you can share a dish, I'd say NOT - the portions are pretty petite considering how much they charge but good overall and definitely something to tell your friends about. The third stop was the bar that Aiden and Steve owned called Scout. The owner had Cosmos waiting for us for only $9 (regular price is $14) and they were yummy and not watered down like most places do when they see tourists flooding in - I definitely felt a buzz LOL! The final stop was in front of the park in Greenwhich Village where Miranda ran into Steve and his new girlfriend. We got out and ate some cupcakes and were allowed another 15 minutes to roam the streets - I'm not sure what that had to do with SATC but it was good to get off the bus and window shop since it was a beautiful day. Overall, the tour was good and you got to meet other SATC fans and see NYC from the perspective of the "girls" but I still think for $45 it could have been better.

Absolutely amazing, would highly recommend it, can't wait to come back and do it again!!

The tour was great fun, more stops would have been a bit better. Perhaps more opporunities to take photos of some of the spots.

This tour was absolutely the best! My boyfriend and I went together and we both had a lot of fun! It was a great way to see the city! I loved it because Sex and the City is one of my favorite shows/movies and my boyfriend thought it was a cool way to see all the different neighborhoods. I DEFINITELY recommend!! (to anyone!) :)
