Sex and the City Hotspots

I got to the tour late, but the bus was still waiting for me! Only thing is, if you come late, you get crummy seats... I had to sit next to the restroom, which wasn't too bad, but since it was in the back, I didn't have a full window. The tour started at the Plaza Hotel and Pulitzer Fountain, and went down Fifth Avenue. As the bus coursed its way through the crazy street, the totally awesome tour guide went through and explained each of the sites, stores, restaurants, and bars that the Sex and the City girls frequented and visited. We stopped at a sex toy shop (15% off), O'neil's Bar (Steve and Aidan's Bar) to have cosmos (discounted from $9 to $7), Hotel Venus (one of Patricia Field's boutiques (10% off)), Carrie's apartment steps, and Magnolia Bakery (where Carrie and Miranda eat cupcakes). Only thing is, you only have 10 to 15 minutes at each of these stops, so you gotta shop quick! So here's my advice to you before you go on the tour: 1. Study up on Sex and the City trivia--you feel like a million bucks when other people take longer than you to think of the answers. 2. Bring a camera, but don't try to videotape the tour like I did, 'cause you'll get humiliated. You can take pictures on the bus, from the bus, at the stops, stores, and bar. 3. You can bring your guy friends. When I went there were about six guys, and frankly, I think they were loving it--c'mon, the bus was filled with 50 beautiful women from NYC and all over the country! 4. BE THERE EARLY! Well, first, you don't wanna hold up the bus like I did, but you may want to snatch good seats at the front, where the tour guide is. In addition, when you get to the numerous stops, you'll be the first to get off, so you'll have more time to look at the stores, etc. 5. That's all folks! Have fun!

The tour was fabulous and the tour guide made it really fun. It definately did not feel like a 3 hour tour! The only thing tho, was that we were not aware that gratuities for the guide were not included in the ticket price. When they handed out the envelopes we were surprised! Be prepared! Otherwise a great way to spend the afternoon in NYC!!

This was my second time on the tour and I enjoyed it as much as the first. Wonderful tour.

The Sex & the City tour was a great combination of reminiscing about the show as well as a great tour of Manhatten! I enjoyed the bits of the show that were shown on the bus that made relevant the places we were seeing. I loved the cup cakes ... and of course getting to sit on Carrie's step! There was lots of activity and information packed into the tour time and I loved it. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

If you like the Sex and the City life style this tour is a great way to get all the hot spot location info and the gossip behind the scenes during the shooting of the show. Its very detailed and very dedicated to the show. So if you like Sex in the City and would enjoy a day of being in Carrie, Miranda, Samantha or Charlotte's shoes then this tour is perfect for you.

This was an excellent tour- even if you aren't an avid SATC fan, you still get to see a lot of the city for a great price!

The tour was fun, naughty and informative. I loved the clips of the show, to bring the locations alive. I loved the cupcakes (they tasted like golden syrup), the cosmopolitan, the book on the show that was available at the Pleasure Chest sex shop and it was great to be given actual locations for where things on the show occurred. Unfortunately I had to leave 2 days later and didn't have time to revisit anything, but I would recommend to others to do the tour early on arriving in NYC so you have fun places you may like to return to. The information and the stops are great. I would like to recommand to add in a stop for a shop which you can buy souvenirs for the show itself.

this tour is a blast. seeing nyc through the eyes of the sex-in-the-city ladies is a very unique experience. i loved the tour director's enthusiasm and knowledge of the various locations and neighborhoods. standing on the stoop of carrie's apartment is an experience i won't soon forget... i highly recommend this tour.
