Sex and the City Hotspots tour

| As a mega SATC fan I was desperate to go on the hotspots tour pretty much from the minute I started planning my New York trip. I had read brilliant reviews about it and was really excited about all the SATC locations you got to visit.
It was amazing to stop at many of the locations used in the show. Buddakon, the restaurant where Carrie and Big held their pre-wedding party in the first film was a particular highlight, so much so that my friend and I went for a gorgeous meal there on our last night. Stopping at Steve's bar Scout was also fun, as was milling around Greenwich Village at the Magnolia Bakery and the book shop where Miranda met the guy who liked having sex in public.
Our guide Amy not only completely knew her stuff about the show but was also hilarious and had us all in fits of laughter throughout the tour.
The only disappointment was the lack of real photo opportunities for many of the hotspots we saw. There were only 4 stops were you could get out and take decent pictures and unfortunately the rest of the time this was dependant on traffic and how qucikly you could get your camera out of it's case. For example, the location used for the outside of the coffee shop to me is quite a major part of SATC, as too are the locations used for Carrie's apartment. Unfortunately though as we drove past these places the traffic was against us and rather than being able to have a good look and take some decent photos we whizzed past and just about managed to take a half blurred shot of somethign vaguley resembling a door way. This happened an awful lot throughout the tour and while I appreciate that time didn't necessarily permit us to stop at every location used on the show, there was an awful lot of 'quickly look to your left and just through the trees you can kind of make out a door, that's the coffee shop'.
So while I would definitely recommend the tour to any follower of the religion that is SATC, I would recommend that you come prepared to not necesssarily be bowled over with all the sights because unfortunately with a lot of them it's a case of blink and you might miss it. |

| It was great to follow the footsteps of Carrie and Co. and see the original settings of the show. For more than 3 hours I could accompany the four ladies on their adventures in NYC and emerge into the world of "Sex and the City". I shopped where they shopped, I ate what they ate - the greatest cupcakes of the world from Magnolia Bakery - I felt what Carrie felt when "Big" stood her up at her wedding day and drank what they drank - a Cosmopolitan. For at least a few hours, I felt like being the fith girl in the Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha gang. It was an unforgettable experience and great memory always to look back on . Ladies, I can only recommend going on this unusual sight seeing tour. You will for sure enjoy it. |

| Myself and 3 friends all from Ireland with ages from 46 to 55 all really enjoyed this tour.
We got to see quite a bit of the wonderful city of New York as well as visiting some of the great locations used in the film and series.
Highlights for me were Scouts bar where we had pink cocktails and Magnolia Bakery where we each had a cup cake.
Our guide was really lovely and very informative and funny too.
Would highly recommend. |

| The tour was really fun and our tour guide Amy was awesome! It was a treat to visit the restuarant from the movie where Big and Carrie had their wedding dinner. I wasn't expecting that! I would highly recommend this tour for any Sex and the City fan! As Carrie would say it was fabulous! |

| The tour was good fun, our guide Amy was fun and friendly and created a great atmosphere.
The only negative point was that the toour didnt include visiting 'Carrie's stoop'. I took the tour a few years ago and we were all lucky enough to have pictures taken on Carrie's front step, but now this is not possible as the owners of Carrie's house wont allow it..
Overall tour was really good fun and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to friends. |

| It was a really good sightseeing tour, but I do think it would have been even better if there would be more stops were you would get of the bus. Of course I think that Carries house is a perfect place to visit and that it was missing (but I did find it on my own after the tour!!!). It was a very good thing to show the scene on video before passing by/making a stop. The cupcakes was the best! Our guide was positiv, funny and seemed to know everything about the show. A map that shows all the places would have been great. I am very saticfied and would recommend the tour. My boyfriend also liked it! |

| Sam was fantastic
Locations were great
it was such good fun for a SATC fan.
Only disappointment would be that we didn't get to see Carrie's apartment steps - I would have really liked that

| This tour really show how the little corners became the heart and sould of a city that never sleeps. It gives you in a few hours a good taste of the city and showcase how ordinary places became extraordinary givin to the city a special spirit.
Highly recommended. |
