Sex and the City Hotspots

You Will not be disappointed on this trip...especially if Jessica is your tour guide! The tour is fun and you get a cupcake from the Magnolia bakery and sip a Cosmo or two in Aiden's bar just like 'the girls' do. I would definitely go next time too x

I was very pleased with my entire experience on the tour! Our tour guide Jessica was fun, energetic and knowledgeable about the show and locations themselves. I recommend this to anyone who enjoyed this show and wants to have a fun time.

I actually thought this was going to be a walking tour and was really looking forward to having my photo taken in places where the girls had been in the tv series and films. Unfortunately, as you were stuck on a bus you were very lucky if you could get a photo of any of the places through the window of the bus as other vehicles were in the way. I did think the tour guide was very good and knowledgeable but was really disappointed with the stops we made on the tour. The first stop was a sex shop so we were expected to spend money, the next stop was 'O'Neills' bar where we were expected to spend money and then we had the cupcakes which I had heard so much about and was looking forward to getting them from the actual shop but they were a bit squashed out of a box. Also, where we had the cupcakes wasn't a great place to hang out as all that was there was the bookshop Miranda had been in and a make-up shop but not much else. The final stop was Buddakhan which I loved and was great that we didn't have to spend any money there but I had already heard of this place on trip advisor and had booked a table for dinner. If I was to go again I would do some research into where things were filmed and just do my own tour so that I could get my picture taken in the different places.

The sex and the city tour was fantastic! Even going on the tour alone is so much fun. I very much enjoyed myself and would suggest it to anyone who is a Sex and the city fan.

Obviously the first thing I had to do when I got home was re-watch the entire SATC series and the movies with my other (jealous) friends and point out every single destination we hit during the tour. It was awesome being able to give them extra tidbits of information about the locations and share all the pictures I took. It's a completely different experience standing in these same locations where your favorite scenes were filmed. A few times I had to ask myself, "Is this real life?" As if the tour itself wasn't enough, the tour guide was unbelievably fantastic. We laughed so hard, we cried several times on the bus. This was definitely one of the best things I have ever done on any trip, and if you're a fan of the show, I would say you're missing a chance of your lifetime if you don't get to go on this tour!

The tour started out with way too much foul language. The entire bus was quiet while the tour guide tried to get the audience to participate. She did not appear aware of her audience at all. We watch the show Sex and the City and felt that very small less tasteful parts were picked out to show that did not really represent the show as a whole and what it was really like. I enjoyed the stops after the first one, which we all thought was inappropriate, even for those of us over 21.

We have expected to see Carrie's appartment and the street where it is located - it was not shown. The Sex shop is not so important in this movie. And we would recomend to have less commercially oriented spots and more romantic and authentic ones displayed in the movie.

Our guide, Jessica, was absolutely fantastic! Entertaining and very knowledgeable, she made the tour so much more than the collection of NYC venues. She was very engaging and shared countless bits of added information about SATC and the stars of that show. She definitely added tremendous value and enjoyment to our day. We would strongly recommend this to other friends and fans - even the guys had fun!
