Once the tour started, we had a good time. It was a shame that the bus turned up 50 minutes late and without a tour guide! The 2 o'clock trip eventually started at 3.20pm. This meant that the stops were very crowded, with more than one bus arriving at the bar, for example, at the same time. That said, it was a different way to see around the city. Fans of the show will love it. |

This tour was so fabulous. I loved every minute of it and our tour guide was wonderful! I would absolutely recommend any Sex and the City addict to take the tour and feel like you've almost walked in their shoes. |

If you are a fan of Sex and the City, you must go on this tour! It takes you through all the hotspots and gives you lots of secrets about the show you would have never known! I went with three of my friends and we had a blast, the bus was comfortable and clean, the tour guide was funny and sweet, but best of all you get to walk in the shoes of the women you idolized for many years! |

Our mission: Get a group of nine fabulous, female friends together, have them take time out from their busy lives, leave their husbands, children and significant others at home, and spend a weekend together in New York City. Our assignment: All members of the group must see the new "Sex and the City" movie, take the "Sex and the City" tour, and have a wonderful time. I'm happy to say that our mission was accomplished!! On Sunday, June 1st we all got on the air conditioned motor coach and had a great time. Our tour guide Amy was great. Not only was she extremely knowlegable about the show and all the sights we saw , but she was a riot! She was so funny, we were laughing all the way! The tour was great. We loved all the stops we made. The Pleasure Chest was very a interesting little shop. The West Village was so beautiful, we all want to go back there and shop. And of course, the Cosmos at O'Neill's were delicious! The only problem we had was that we left a little late. This was because of a parade/demonstration at the pick up location so it was a bit hard to find out where the bus was rerouted to. Other than that, it was fabulous! |

The tour itself was very good fun and the guide was superb, however the whole tour started over an hour late due to a complete lack of organisation. Couldn't help but think that given we still finished on time that our tour was cut short... They also promised to compensate us with vouchers which have never been sent.
Definitely a mixed bag. I wouldn't bother again. |

We began the tour a bit discouraged when we found out we had to walk practically back to our hotel since there was a parade going on and Fifth Avenue was closed down so the normal meeting spot was unreachable by the bus. It wouldn't have been that bad if we knew where we were going. But it felt like wild goose chase since we then had to turn around and go back and cross the parade-- eek! For any Seinfeld buffs it was very reminiscent of the Puerto Rican Day Parade episode so it was actually kind of fun for me at the same time. HOWEVER once the tour started our tour guide was adorable, sweet, and friendly, and knowledgeable of SATC info! But most of all she was very apologetic that we had spent half an hour just getting to the bus and that was very important to me. The tour was so much fun getting to see all the restaurants that the actors and actresses love from the show and many spots where various scenes were shot. The cupcakes and cosmos were to die for. However I feel it necessary to mention that the female bartender at O'Nieal's (Aiden and Steve's bar in the show Scout) was extremely rude and vocal about it. Not only did she get mad when some cosmos got dribbled but she had the nerve to yell out to the whole bar "Carrie tipped her waiters ya gotta tip the bartender people COME ON" this was right after the customer she was complaining about who was paying with a card put a $3 tip in the tip jar while her back was turned. I spoke right up and said "She put money in the jar you had your back turned- she tipped you" and she did say thank you however she did not apologize and she continued to complain about having to make drinks and clean up after drinkers which the last time I checked is everything her job consists of. Sorry to digress-- BUT THE TOUR EMPLOYEES WERE EXCELLENT! Our guide really made the tour very fun and glamorous while still staying very personable. It was SO NICE to be in the air conditioned bus since it was hot out but the walking spots are in very peaceful areas of the city-- it really feels like the show. I loved the anecdotal clips from the show as well they really illustrated the spots nicely! I would definitely do the tour again and I just might since for our inconveniences I am expecting some tickets to be emailed to me since the tour guide told us that due to the headache of confusion with the bus and the parade that we would all get a gift certificate for another tour!!!! |

We happened to plan a girlfriend's trip to NYC on the weekend that SATC movie premiered--couldn't have planned that better. We saw the movie on Friday and did the tour on Sunday afternoon. It was outstanding. The tour guide (Amy) was tons of fun and shared her own personal tidbits about the series and actors. Amy played clips from the show after each location, which really brought it all to life. There were a few stops, which were fun--Pleasure Chest, the "Scout" bar for cosmos, and the West Village neighborhood. On the bus as we toured, we saw many of the locations for scenes from the series. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned.
There was major chaos getting to the bus due to an unexpected parade on 5th Avenue. Communication was quite a problem and our tour started 40 minutes late (after walking SEVERAL blocks back and forth). Needed much better contingency planning for this type of situation. However, once on the bus, the tour made up for this problem. |
