Sex and the City Hotspots

The tour was really nice and we had a great guide. I would definiately recommend it to friends. The scenes you get to see from the series are great and you might want to show a bit more of that to really get in the SATC mood.

This tour set the mood for our trip. It introduced us to so many "Sex" areas on Manhattan and showed us where to go when we were looking for different "Sex" activities...drinking, fashion, or men...whatever NYC had.

We would recommend this tour to anyone familiar with the series, but especially diehard fans. Our guide was very familiar with the locations and the insights into the production. She also kept it fun for everyone, even if you didn't know the answers to the many trivia questions she quizzed us on. Well done!

the expectation is very high. I thought that we can go to the bars/ clubs that the characters went and would probably see the same scene as shoot in the episodes. but at the end, it's just a tour bus running around the corners and we were only able to see the front door of most of the buildings, but not inside. Quite disappointed in that sense.

Things I liked about the tour: 1. I learnt a number of things from the guide about the show which I didn't expect; 2. I like the booklet that was handed out to us afterwards, stating all the locations that we have visited; 3. The goodies I didn't expect: We went to the cupcake store where the sex and the city girls had cup cakes at and actually had some of the cupcakes there, and we could go into the pub where the girls partied at, and actually had cosmopolitan! and I thought the tour could be a lot better because: 1. I loved the show because of its emotional level and the fact that it makes you think a lot and it is very intelligent in a lot of ways. However the guide focused way too much on the surface level of the show when she talks (eg. firemen, sex, beauty, shopping...etc). Maybe that's how she is but that really disinterested me. 2. The tour could be a lot more organized: The guide could have led the tour in a much more successful way by showing the related clips FIRST before arriving the destination so that we would have the visual reminder before seeing the actual location. Instead, the guide led the tour to the destination first, asking verbally if we remembered it from a certain episode, and then show the clips a long time after (when we were in traffic to another location). 3. I wish it were a walking tour, or at least we could have walked around more instead of being in the bus / traffic almost the entire time. Also, being in the bus makes it extremely difficult to see some of the locations. Ideally the tour could get off the bus, walk to several locations that are near-by, and then the bus could pick the tour up again and drive to a further site. 4. I know it may be asking for too much, but I wish we could have seen the interior of some of the major sets (such as Carrie's house, and Samantha's house...etc).

Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Sex and The City tour, and our guide Liz was perfect for the part. The only thing that would have made the tour better is if there was an HBO store in Manhattan that we could buy Sex and The City merchandise from after the tour! We loved the tour so much that we even contemplated doing it again a few days later, but travel plans and finances didn't allow. Maybe next time we come to NY we'll take the tour again. I had such a great time! The tour guide was EXTREMLY knowledgable of the show and I really enjoyed her personality. I wish I would have gave her more than a $10.00 tip because she was worth more! I totally recommend it to anyone who is a die hard fan of the show like I am!

Brilliant, if you are a fan of Sex and the City, this is a must. You really get a feel for New York and the types of places Carrie and the girls hung out... I would do it again...

We LoVED it!

Very good and great fun. One minor point was that the opportunities to take photos was limited as we only stopped off a couple of times. However, as avid sex and the City fans, it was a great opportunity to see parts of the city that we wouldnt have seen before that had some meaning.
