Sopranos Sites

If you are a fan of The Sopranos, this tour is a must! I went into this tour not knowing what to expect but came out completely stoked at what I had just saw! DO IT! DO IT NOW!

THE TOUR WAS HORIBLE. THERE WAS A YOUNG AND CHARISMATIC GUIDE WHO WAS FILLING IN FOR THE REGULAR GUIDE. THOUGH IT WAS HIS FIRST TOUR AND HE KNEW NOTHING OF SOPRANOS HE DID GIVE A GOOD EFFORT AND WOULD HAVE DONE JUST FINE HAD HE NOT EMPLOYED THE SERVICES OF WHAT I CALL THE "DYING MAN." AN OLD FELLOW WHO CLAIMED TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT SOPRANOS BUT SEEMED POISED TO BREATH HIS LAST BREATH AT ANY MOMENT AS HE WAS EXASPERATED AFTER EVERY SENTANCE. THERE WAS NO SATRIALE'S (DEMOLITION), WE DIDN'T SEE THE HOUSE AND THE AV EQUIPMENT DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE TOUR DESCRIPTION WAS MISLEADING, THE BADA BING WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT BUT THE CANOLI WAS GOOD. SO IF YOU WANT A $40 CANOLI AND A WASTE OF 4 HOURS BY ALL MEANS TAKE THE TRIP. IF I WAS TONY SOPRANO I WOULD MAKE SURE THE TOUR COMPANY AND ALL IT'S ASSETS WERE LIQUIDATED. IT SHOULD BE A CRIME TO GIVE THIS TOUR AND CERTAINLY WAS A SIN (THOU SHALL NOT STEAL, THOU SHALL NOT GIVE FALSE WITNESS). IT WAS THE GREATEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF MY ENTIRE NEW YORK TRIP. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SKIP THIS TOUR.

It was a fun tour - My husband & I are from Brooklyn & we really had a great time.

This was my 2nd tour. This time with my adult children. The tour guide was unable to work. He was in a accident and was having surgery. The stand in guide along with John (Sopranose guru) still was fantastic. It was Mother'sDay and the girls at BADA BING were not on site therefore we were able to take pictures inside, this time. If you are Sopranos fan this is a definate must. Surprisingly there were only about 8 Americans on the bus, mostly English tourist. Easy access from Timesquare to meet up with bus. Takes about 4 hours to tour. Enjoy, Sharon from Virginia..

I love the whole concept and the actual tour sites, but unfortunately the day we went the original tour guide was not there so the Guy we had was not as informed. But over-all it was great and loves the sites they took us too...

Too long. Wrong tour guide. Boring, etc., etc., etc.

I went on the Soprano's tour in February and it was professional, fun and interesting. This time I took a friend for her birthday and was very disappointed and do not feel it was worth the time or money. Although told that the guide was in a car accident, the replacements were totally unprofessional. The guide bad mouthed NJ again and again and claimed he had only seen one episode of the Sopranos. If this was a one time occurance, they would have been better off cancelling the tour rather than taking people's money and embarrassing themselves with fill-ins who really knew very little about the tour itself.

This was a very enjoyable tour hosted by Marc Baron who has appeared as an extra in several episodes. His knowledge and insights to the cast and all of the series and his knowledge of the technical aspects of locations and filming wasexcellent. Prior to the tour I wondered if visiting the locations would spoil watching future episodes but having seen some since it has actually had the opposite effect. Running clips on the bus at the end of the tour of extracts filmed at the sites visited really brought it all together very well. I will certainly recommend the tour to friends who visit New York.

This is a must see for Sopranos fans. The tour guide was authentic and very knowledgeable about the Sopranos. The bus was clean and comfortable. It can be difficult to take pictures but that is not the tour's fault as most of the sites are off busy highways. Enjoyed it very much.

Very worthwhile doing ... very knowledgable tour guide. Only negaitve is you dont get to see the Sopranos house. Take a water bottle to drink on board!
