Sopranos Sites

My husband and I had booked this tour as part of our 1st wedding anniversary trip to New York - I can safely say we are the only couple I know to go to a strip club on our wedding anniversary - together anyway!! The tour itself was very very professional from start to finish - we even got to meet Vito which made the day for my husband! Very good tour and while we were stuck in traffice on the Jersey Turnpike we got to watch the Pilot Episode which was a brilliant way to pass the time. Highly recommended!!

This tour was great...included unexpected extras such as meeting a cast member, trivia prizes, cannolis, and an inside view of the Bada Bing! A full days worth of activites. A good value for the price and lots of fun. Wish the bus had TV screens for those of us sitting on the left side however.

I thought this tour was great. It killed a couple of birds with one stone, given that we really wanted to see New Jersey on our trip to NY, and this also ticked that box quite well. It has to be said, it's not absolutely hardcore fans only, but you won't get a great deal from the tour locations if you're not particularly familiar with the programme. Showing clips on the coach of scenes where that location was used put everything in a great context. The obvious highlights were meeting Vito (clearly a nice little earner on the side for him, turning up for ten minutes and selling items for $20+ out of his boot... you can take the guy out of the Sopranos but you can't take the Sopranos out of the guy!) and visiting the Bada Bing. And the guide is spot on, knowlegeable but remains genuine throughout. Well worth it if you have a spare four hours.

This was an excellent tour. Showed a lot of sites that were filmed for the Sopranos and explained a lot of the scenes in detail. Tour guide shared a lot of relevant inside information. Really enjoyed the trivia on the bus between sites. Very well done!

From the minute we met our tour guide we were made feel welcomed. We then met one of the Cast from the Sopranos before boarding the tour bus. Our tour guide was also an extra on the Sopranos, which gave us a little more information about the actors themselves. All the places we visited were of great interest and then we could watch a scene on the t.v. screens on board the bus. Eating Canollies and visiting Bada Bings was great.

I didn't watch the Sopranos - I went on the trip with my son as he is a great fan. After being on the trip I have asked my son to let me borrow his DVDs as I felt I knew the Sopranos well enough after this. What a great trip.

Maybe it was just us and we did not understand how different the television production teams make everything look. I know that we were told that sites would not necessarily look like they do on tv but until you see the plain drab building that becomes the tv location you really don't understand how different everything is. We found the tour guide informative and I really believe that he did all he could - and he did keep us quite entertained and gave lots of information. We enjoyed meeting Vito - but really, selling pictures out of the trunk of his SUV gave the tour a cheesy undertone right from the beginning - maybe he should have talked to the group and answered a few questions and then sold a bit of merchandise. The same goes for the Satin Dolls stop. It just felt like a rip-off at the club. I would only recommend the tour to complete die hard fans who have lots of time to kill.

I have already told many of my fellow Sopranos fans that they should do this tour. We had an excellent time. It was great to hear all about various locations and then watch clips from the show reminding us all of each location. And getting the opportunity to see Vito was priceless....my husband and I would recommend this tour to anyone who is a fan, and we plan to return a second time with a bigger group of people....thanks for a great time!
