Sopranos Sites

The tour itself was extrtemely entertaining. Our tour guide was Mark. Of particular importance was the fact that we were able to meet Vito before leaving on the tour and get an autographed picture and private pictures too. What a wonderful afternoon.

This was a great tour -- very informative and full of interesting facts about the actors. Our tour guide, Marc Baron, was unbelievable! He made the tour very exciting! I would take it again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was about what we expected from reading the advertisement. It was fun meeting Joe Gannascoli. He was friendly and willing to put up with every request for pictures and autographs. The highlights of the tour for us were traveling the road Tony does in the opening, Pizzaland, Satriale's, the Bada Bing and the wonderful cannoli! Sam and Linda Talluto

The actor who played Vito met us at the tour start although I am told this was not arranged by the tour. It sure was a bonus. The tour guide was great as he was an extra on the show itself. The area we visited where the Soprano's is filmed is really old and run down. Satriales is actually an abandoned building dressed only during filming. You could walk by a million times and you'd never recognize it. Still in all it was fun. We enjoyed watching the clips on the bus of the areas we had just visited but again it was the tour guide that made it entertaining.

The guide for the tour, Marc Baron, a regular on "The Sopranos" was very informative and detailed throughout the entire tour. He gave us background information on all the main characters and provided a lot of insight on each stop on the tour. We were even able to get out of the bus and witness in person the terrific sights used on "The Sopranos" set where the actors and actresses were filmed. Mr. Baron also accompanied us outside of the bus and provided more insight on the set. We also participated in trivia questions based on the hit show where prizes were given to the winners. I would also like to personally thank Mr. Gannascoli who played Vito Spatafore on the show for meeting us in Manhattan to take a few pictures with him and get a signed picture from the show depicting Mr. Imperioli who plays Christopher Moltisanti, Mr. Gandolfini who plays Tony Soprano and Mr. Gannascoli. He was also selling a personal book that he wrote which in my opinion was great! This was an experience I won't soon forget!

As a big fan of the Sopranos, the tour provided provided what it said it would and then some. Getting to meet one of the Sopranos stars and the canollis were an added bonus.

Mark was a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. My husband and I both enjoyed the tour.

The tour was very, very good. I think we were expecting more of an interactive tour vs. an informative tour, as we had done Sex and the City the day before with the same company and it was more an interactive style. At first, we thought it was slow and might potentially be boring. However, after we got going, we realized that it was really very good and just a different style. Our tour guide was Marc Baron, who had been in 13 episodes of the series, so he was able to give excellent information on all of the actors and their bios, behind the scenes information, and a lot of filming information in general. It was quite interesting to find out all about production, like how much it costs to film for a day, what type of buildings they look for when they shoot, and many more things related to the actual filming of the series. Marc was especially fantastic, so if you have the opportunity to have him as your guide, DO NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY! Overall we really enjoyed the tour, and it was a pick-me-up on an otherwise absolutely abysmal day in NYC - the weather was atrocious, which can't be controlled, of course - rain rain and more rain. We were so fortunate to have breaks in the weather each time we got off the bus at a location, so we didn't miss a thing. Last stop, of course, was the Bada Bing. Funny, it seemed cleaner inside in real life than it does on the show. Go figure! Anyway, a 4-star tour to be certain. Don't miss it!

Tour guide was funny and had been an extra on the Sopranos so could give insight to how the show was filmed and what the cast and crew were like. Great value for money as well.
