Marc Baron did a great job presenting and organizing. Need to upgrade prizes on the bus for answering questions. DVD/TV support a bit "amateurish" but I understand that's just the sort of TV available on the bus. Memorabilia store at "Satin Dolls" could be upgraded from a tight quarters liquor closet, stock of items needs to be better maintained. Need to tell people that the "Satriale's" is not there anymore beforehand to avoid major disappointment. Sopranos posters signed by one of the main actors at the end of the tour would be a nice touch (could be offered for $'s - people would most definitely buy). The onion rings and photo opportunitiy at the Ice Cream Parlor stood out! (On a personal note, can I ask for music CD with all the songs and especially "Uncle June's" singing? - I'll pay for postage to my address in California) |

My husband is the Soprano's fan, not me, but i found the tour to be enjoyable and informative. We went past a few sites where filming occurred and found out alot of background information from our guide, Marc Barron. We got to get out and see a few of the sites like the diner from the last scene and the Bada Bing . Overall was very happy with tour and especially with the guide. |

Our tour guide (Mark), was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour for Soprano fans!
The journey was just over 4 hours, take a small snack and drink, but you will stop off at a few café's that are apart of the sightseeing on the tour where you can buy food, and also memorabilia. |

You need to be a hardcore fan to really appreciate this tour, much of the sites are car parks, industrial sites etc where "whacks" have happened! With the best locations last, the diner where the final scene was shot and the bada bing!
The tour guide knows absolutely everything and every line to the film and relays a lot of info! So if you're not a fan you be a little bored
We got the opportunity to meet the actor who plays Vito before the the tour and I believe he makes an appearance at most of these but he does charge 20$ for a photo and offers additional merchandise. We declined but many took him up on the offer so ensure you have some cash if you wish to meet him.
All in all a good day but again must be a real hardcore fan to get the benefit of the tour |

We are big Soprano fans and to visit so many sites was great. We thought the price was good value for money, and the pick up and drop off at Times Square was very convenient. Holsteins (last episode) was a real treat.

This tour is absolulely great! We saw one of the actors, Vito, and we had the change to take a picture with him. We visit nearly all the spots from the series (bada bing, satriales and many more) and the tour guide knew every detail, it was really nice to hear him speak. I recommend this tour to every soprano fan! |

Probably need to be a serious sopranos junky to love this tour. And trust me, I did really love the show - but the tour was still....meh... It wasn't that the tour guide wasn't knowledgable and fun, it's just one of these things that's MAYBE would have been cool 5 years ago. Other than that, you're driving around New Jersey, and for anyone who knows Nj knows there's nothing amazing to see. Especially when you're looking at bridges and waste lands where bodies were dumped.
Funny thing too. You meet Vito before the tour. He's selling all sorts of signed sopranos memorabilia. I was looking at the stuff and thinking what the hell am I going to do with this signed sopranos poster when I politely said no thank you and asked him to take a picture with us instead. He replies "it's cold out here, how about a little something for the effort, I am not doing this for free", when I replied "$100 for two tickets isn't free" and he then turned his head and ignored us.
Seriously what a pr!ck.
Overall, don't waste your money on this tour unless you are a seriously diehard fan that's still living like its 2007 or are watching the shows now and are obsessed and don't mind some sopranos trivia and landfills. |
