Found the tour very entertaining with reservations about the Satin Dolls part. The tour guide Marc was excellent with his anecdotes about the show. All in all a great experience would recommend to other fans of the show.

If you are a Sopranos fan this is the tour to take. Marc the tour guide has such a depth of knowledge on the subject which he delivers in a relaxed and informative way. He never missed a beat and made the whole tour such an enjoyable experience. Well worth the money.

We saw a lot of the sites used during the filming of the show. Tour was very recommendation would be to cut it shorter....maybe 3 hour max versus 4. Guide was enthusiastic and had lots of stories to tell about the actors and the filming. Would have been good to get in and take pics at the Badda Bing at the bar etc...seemed less than classy to go in during normal operating hours...disrespectful to the dancers and patrons to parade us in there while it was operational. Overall...would I recommend the tour...probably not given you could do so many other tours that would take up less time and see more of what the cities have to offer. Just my two cents worth....

This might have been the best $50 I spent in years. For 4 hours on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in April, I toured industrial north Jersey and visited countless sites of my all-time favorite TV show, the Sopranos. The best parts of the tour was sitting in Tony's table at the diner in the last scene of the series and of course the Bada Bing! (Sadly Satriale's pork store is now a parking lot). Marc Baron, the tour guide, made the tour. He was an extra on the series and his knowledge of the show is second to none. I really enjoyed his Sopranos trivia questions and even answered 3 right and got some clever prizes! Amazing that this tour attracts people from all over the world, and the show has been off the air for almost 6 years!!! One other thing to note is that you can meet Joe Gannascoli ("Vito") before the tour and buy souvenirs out of the back of his trunk...he won't take photos or sign autographs unless you buy something, so don't approach unless you want to fork over some cash. All in all, this was an awesome Saturday. FYI - tour leaves NYC at 10am, and you get dropped off a couple blocks away around 2:15-2:30.

I recommend this tour for all sopranos fans. Its very exciting to know some locations. It was a surprise to know that the tour guide is an actor that appear in some scenes of the series. The only concern is that the video clips of the original scene was played after the visit of the location and in my opinion it would be better before.

The tour was exciting for this Sopranos fan. I would maybe take tour again but be better prepared to take pictures. The guide, Marc was real cool. He had alot of great info and trivia about the show. It was also nice that he had been a cast member as it made him seem more credible. I got to meet a cast member prior to the tour and the cost of a photo souvenier as well as a picture with was not bad for the price. The sites for the tour were cool and it was nice that the video segments brought them to life. I won several trivia prizes on the tour and that was neat. I enjoyed the on sites where you actually got off the bus and were on location. Holstens was awesome and the Bing was somewhat of a let down, especially for purchasing souveniers. i was hoping to get a larger selection of merchandise from the Bing so this was disappointing.

The guide was amazing: that guy talked for 5 hours no stop explaining to us all the tecnicalities, telling us all the stories, clarifying details and highlighting mistakes and curiosities!!! That was the best: of course it was incredible seeing with our own eyes Pizzaland and Badabing (omg our friends are so jealous!!!), but listening to the guide was like having a 5 hours lecture on our favourite subject "The Sopranos"!!!!!!!!! Loved every bit of this tour!!!!!!!!

This was a great tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone that has even a slight interest in the show. Wasn't just sights from the bus, we actually got to get out a few times at specific sites and a short walking tour too. The tour leader keeps the "down time" interesting with trivia, stories and games. We even got to meet one of the actors, Joe Gannascoli (Vito).

A bit on the low budget side.

Marc Baron did a great job presenting and organizing. Need to upgrade prizes on the bus for answering questions. DVD/TV support a bit "amateurish" but I understand that's just the sort of TV available on the bus. Memorabilia store at "Satin Dolls" could be upgraded from a tight quarters liquor closet, stock of items needs to be better maintained. Need to tell people that the "Satriale's" is not there anymore beforehand to avoid major disappointment. Sopranos posters signed by one of the main actors at the end of the tour would be a nice touch (could be offered for $'s - people would most definitely buy). The onion rings and photo opportunitiy at the Ice Cream Parlor stood out! (On a personal note, can I ask for music CD with all the songs and especially "Uncle June's" singing? - I'll pay for postage to my address in California)
