fun tour

I enjoyed the tour very much. The only problem was that the batrhoom had overflowed 3/4 through our trip and the smell of urine throught the bus made everyone sick. Being unable to open windows didn't help the matter either. Everyone was grateful to get off at certain stops to breath. Without the stops there would have been vomiting I assure you. The tour guide, though, was very informative and funny. He did a great job. Raymond

OVERALL THE TOUR WAS GOOD. THE AUDIO WAS NOT WORKING DURING THE TOUR BUT THE TOUR GUIDE DID A GOOD JOB COMPENSATING FOR IT. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SELECTION OF GIFTS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE BADA BING. ALSO DISAPPOINTED THAT THE BADA BING WAS SELLING THE GIFTS FOR A HIGHER COST THAN THE SAME ITEMS THAT WERE IN THEIR DISPLAY CASE. I FELT THEY WERE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE TOUR GUESTS BY CHARGING A HIGHER PRICE.

A well put together and incredibly detailed tour of familiar sights from The Sopranos We had a great tour guide who knew so many facts and figures about the show it was amazing A bonus of the tour is that it takes you to areas of everday parts of New Jersey so you are able to compare them with the glitz and glamour of Manhatten Thoroughly recommended!!

Never having done this type of tour before, I joined without any knowledge of what to expect. Our guide, Gary, was friendly and welcoming. Vito turned up at the beginning and posed for photos and sold merchandise from his car. Before long we were on the coach heading towards that famous N.J. Turnpike sign we all know and love. Each site was special in itself and no doubt all held a secret interest to everybody individually. The sites both surprised and disappointed me as they were not as I had imagined, as is often the case. In the show everything seems to look much bigger. However, it was great to see them. The finale was the best...........the Bada Bing........... and we were lucky enough to get inside, sit on T's chair, and take photos. Throughout the tour Gary was most entertaining with his en route quiz - complete with appropriate prizes for first correct answers. This was both amusing and passed some time. We had an expert on our tour. I am sure this guy had seen the show at least 10 times judging by his knowledge. It all added to the enjoyment of the day. Any self-respecting Sopranos fan must do this tour if possible. It would have been better if we could have spent a bit more time with the cast member to ask a few questions and break the ice. This was not to be as he did not join the tour again. ............just when we thought we were in................ All in all I would thoroughly recommend this afternoon out to anyone who was hooked on this great show.

Great Tour

Pros- The Sopranos tour takes you to most of the locations that you see on the show. The guide also uses clips of the show that correspond with the place you had just seen. This is really cool. The guide goes through a ton of Soprano set stories and discusses some of our favorite movies, Goodfellas etc. Guide and driver were great; bus was immaculate and comfortable. Cons- The tour is 4 hours, a little long for weekenders trying to see as much of the city as possible, but not really avoidable if you want to see the highlight locations of the show. There is a lot of trivia and after the third hour it gets a little old. It would help to have a bus load of people that are really into it, we did not. I recomend this tour highly to anyone who has four hours to spare and is really interested in the stuff that goes on behind the scenes of the Sopranos.

I thought this was excellent. I have already recommended it to a number of my friends in London. The tour was very well presented by a well informed "inside man"/guide, Marc Baron. We met one of the actors, in our case the character "Vito", all the behind the scenes info', combined with the on location sites, a delicious "canoli" (excuse the spelling if wrong), culminating with a drink at the Bada Bing... terrific. I just wish we could have stopped to have lunch at one of the fantastic art deco diners we passed in Newark. My only complaint was that four hours was not long enough.

My boyfriend (who is a huge Sopranos fan) and I recently went on the above tour while on holiday in New York. The tour was excellent and the tour guide was very knowledgable and personable. He provided a great insight not only to the production of the Sopranos but to film and tv as a whole. Great tour guide (Marc Baron) and great tour. Thanks.

I've watched The Sopranos since the first episode and I feel it's probably the best dramatic series ever on television. When I first read about the Sopranos tour I made a mental note to take it when I was next in New York City. About a month ago I got an email showing a $59 airfare from Chicago to New York on JetBlue so I checked out hotel availability and the Sopranos tour dates and then booked the flight. The tour was everything as advertised, with one exception: Satin Dolls (Bada Bing) was not open for business because of Memorial Day, so I didn't have the opportunity to have a drink there. The tour did stop there and we were able to go inside and get souvenirs. The tour guide, Marc Baron, was first class. His knowledge of and background with The Sopranos was encyclopedic. Plus he's a good guy. I heartily recommend this tour, especially if one can get into the Bing for a drink and a dance.
