| It got off to a great start with Joseph R Gannoscoli (Vito) signing books and having his photograph taken. Not one but two Soprano actors as Marc Baron revealed he too had appeared on the show. Excellent choice of locations with enough time to take in the atmosphere and photograph from all angles. Marc's commentary was informative and entertaining with the odd quiz thrown in to keep everyone on their toes.
The interspersing of video clips of the Sopranos was inspired and often quite amusing as Marc explained the various bloopers that had crept into the show over the years.
it was also very interesting to get the inside explanation of why locations were chosen and the logistics of putting it all together. It is something the viewer just takes for granted for if it is done well (as it has been with the Sopranos), it will not be noticed.
The highlight (if it is possible or even fair to single out anything) was the cannolis which were delicious. We had never eaten them before and they blew away our Weightwatchers diet in one stroke!
The tour coach was just right with plenty of room for everyone and big windows to take pictures form.
A word of praise for the driver too as his sensitive handling of the tour coach by the scenes was much appreciated.
To repeat, it was an excellent tour, many thanks.

| Not a bad tour. The air conditioning on the bus wasn't working which made an uncomfortable trip.
There was also something happening in Newark which made the tour detour missing a site or two.
The TV reviews of where the sceens took place were good and helped put things into sequence. The guide was knowledgeable |

| The Sopranoland tour is a good time - you'll probably enjoy it in direct proportion to how big a Sopranos fan you are. I think the tour guide did a wonderful job of clearly describing each specific episode/scene that was relevant to particular sites, so that if you watch the show, you knew what you were looking at even if you don't have an idetic memory. In addition, on the way back, a series of Sopranos clips is shown on the way back featuring the sites you have just seen. He also describes the clips that will be shown during the tour, while you're looking at the locations, so that when you see the clips you are prepared to notice what's what. Most of these sites are somewhat ugly and if you're not 100% sure what it is, it's meaningless.
The tour guide was someone who works in "the business" and has been involved with 13 Sopranos episodes (Marc Baron), so even though we are pretty up on Sopranos trivia, we learned new things about it. He asked trivia questions about the show and even gave prizes for correct answers. It's fun to see how much other people on the tour know about the show and to share that in common.
We had the chance to meet Joe Gannascoli (Vito Spatafore) although I understand his appearance or that of any cast member is not guaranteed by the tour. We actually opted out of meeting him because when we approached him, we saw that people were paying him for something (probably autographed pictures) and since we didn't want to pay, we would have felt awkward telling him that, so we walked away. But we did see him very up close.
The pictures we took from inside the bus, even though they include a lot of tourists and seats and such in the way, turned out okay. And you can get out of the bus at several places to take better pictures, such as Satriale's (the pork store). We were allowed to spend 20 minutes inside the Bada Bing club. You could get a drink, watch the strippers, whatever (they weren't naked). They forgot to warn us that the ladies' room doubles as the changing room for the strippers (oops), but it was no big deal. There's plenty of souveneirs on sale at the Bada Bing, and it's cash only so have cash on hand as the ATM on site charges an outrageous fee. Bada Bing is WAY smaller than it looks on the show. But it's still fun.
They sprang to give each passenger on the tour a canole to eat. And also, I didn't think we would have time to stop and get anything to eat, but they did stop somewhere where we could buy some food, and eating on the bus was OK. I don't know if all the perks we experienced occur on each and every tour. The fact that they were sort of a surprise makes me think that they try not to let on about that or guarantee it because depending on many factors, some features may not be available to every tour group.
All in all, we thought it was a fun afternoon, and all the other passengers on the tour appeared to be very happy and satisfied with the tour too. |

| Very interesting tour.
Everyone on the tour in cluding my wife and I were big fans of the show.
Since everyone knew the locations and the history, it was a tour that we all enjoyed.
The sites, especially seeing the "Bada Bing" up close were really enjoyable.
I would recommend this tour to any who asked me. |

| Everything you've always wanted to know about the Sopranos -- and then some!
Very entertaining tour. The guide was funny, well informed, kept things light and informative. It was great to see the locations and hear the stories behind the scenes. There was some walking, some eating, some shopping -- but never any pressure to do any.
Had a great time. |
