Overall my Girlfriend and I loved this tour and would recommend it 100% to fellow Soprano's fans. We would especially recommend it if you are also a huge Sporano's fan as it includes loads of very interesting trivia about the show, the cast and the making of the series. I would have to say that if you are not a big fan of the show that it might not be for you maybe.
One small sour point was that our trip was slightly spoilt by a group who did nothing but moan and sleep throughout the trip in the coach, and whenever we stopped they spent time making calls on their mobile whilst the guide was talking !! For us we felt the whole reason for going on the tour was straight forward and if they weren't big fans of the Sporano's they shouldn't have bothered coming...although to be fair this was nothing to do with the tour company of course.
Anyway..onto the good stuff. The tour was taken by Marc Baron who has starred on the series and is a working actor on some other projects too. As a result he knows the business very well and is able to share lots of interesting information about the show and all the making of it. He was also very knowledgable about the history of the New Jersey area and that helps when you are stuck in traffic leaving Manhatten for the tour!! The quality of the show comes through in the tour as you learn that it is nearly all shot on location and is very authentic to the region and the writing/characterisation. All the places visited were exactly as you expect to find and you really felt closer to the program and what the makers are trying to convey in it.
One especially nice touch was that we stopped for a delicious Canolli towards the end of the tour which was not something that we expected. The highlight for many people is the last stop at "Satin Dolls" AKA "Bada Bing" It's almost exactly as you've seen it on TV/DVD and is a great end for the trip. We found it funny (as we are from the UK) to find out that the Jersey state laws don't allow topless dancers to be in front of people drinking alcohol so all the girls at Satin Dolls are (partially)clothed...perhaps that's something for Tony to sort out one day..!!
The only criticism's we could offer would be as follows. 1. When the tour coach is full (as ours was) you cannot always hear (or be heard) by the guide at the front. It might be better to have more speakers, or for the guide to have a micropohne with a longer lead so he can move up the coach and be heard by everyone. 2. The merchandise sold at "Satin Dolls" is both overpriced and poor quality which is a shame. If it was better quality and priced fairer I'm sure it would be a more attractive proposition for fans of the show.
Aside from that we'd be happy to recommend the tour to fellow watchers of the Sporano's here in UK.
p.s. note to Marc Baron. We'll look out for you now on the show and you should also get Screentours to sanction some better quality prizes for the trivia questions on the tour !!!

As a die-hard Soprano fan, I can thoroughly recommend this tour. It's very cool seeing things like Satriales and the Bada Bing up-close.
The tour-guide really knew his stuff, I thought I knew it all when it came to this show, but learned a lot of interesting stuff, and the trivia questions he asked along the way drove me crazy!
There were lot's of locations from single scenes, like where shootings had occurred, and I'd have perhaps like to have seen more stuff from the opening credits such as the turnpike and drive safely towers, but this probably isn't practical in the four hours.
Overall - if you are a Sopranos fan and visiting Manhattan you MUST do this. But be warned if you have a non-fan with you, they are going to find this pretty boring. |

A must-do for any Sopranos fan. |

The guide was very polite and professional. He really knew his stuff and was very thorough in explaining each location stop. He tried to keep it as light hearted as possible, which is always great on a tour of this kind. All in all I had an excellent time. My only "gripe" was not being able to take photos inside the Bada Bing location but this was out of the the tour organisers' hands. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and I would porbably take it again myself when I'm back in the USA. |

The best part was going to Bada Bing strip club. The worst part was that the girls weren't naked!
The tour guide does a great job of entertaining you over the 4 hours. |

This tour along with the Sex and the City tour was the higlight of our trip to NY. The tour guide (Mark) was informative and witty giving us some wonderful insight into the show. The sights around New Jersey while bleak showed the gritty landscape in which the Sopranos is set. The tour is well organised with convenient pick up and drop off in Manhattan. It is also well planned and the 4 hours just fly by. The cannoli was a lovely surprise and was absolutely delicious! I will highly recommend this to any friends who visit New York in the near future. |

I would recommend this tour to any avid fans of The Sopranos, it's also a great way to see New Jersey if you're lazy like us. Going in Bada Bing (Satin Dolls) was surreal, if anything I wish We coiuld've stayed longer, but hey, I could always do that in my own time! Even my mum liked it and she hates swearing let alone The Sopranos. Good eggs. |

The tour was great. I found that I should play more attention to the show. From now on I will be watching for "the little things" that go on in the background of any show, not just the Sopranos. |

My sister and I took this tour and loved every minute of it. The tour guide was amazing - especially since he has starred in 13 episodes, so he has a first hand perspective on The Sopranos. If you are from somewhere other than Jersey and are a huge Sopranos fan, it's great for getting familiar with New Jersey. Most of the filming were close by one another, so the tour allows you to hit many spots in a short amount of time. My sister and I are huge fans and loved it. The canolis are incredible, too. :) |
