Sopranos Sites

The tour was great. The guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I would strongly recommend this as a good way of getting off the beaten track in NY and New Jersey. But brush up on your Sopranos' trivia in order to win the prizes as the questions are fiendish.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Mark, our guide, was funny and knowledgeable and we all enjoyed the cannolis that he got for us. He has appeared in quite a few episodes of the programme and gave us lots of background into what goes on and the actors involved. The coach was warm and comfortable and I won a CD for knowing Tony's wife's favourite singer. I am recommending this tour to my friends.

Overall we enjoyed the tour and would tell people with a similar interest to go on it. However, there was a problem with the original bus, which meant its replacement turned up late and made the start of the tour feel rushed, the driver had to be told to go slow or slow down for quite a few specific areas of interest, but he didn't or did too late. I'm guessing that it was partly because we would run out of daylight to take our final photos, but all the same I'm sure I am not the only person who missed some of their favourite buildings or sites. The Guide's knowledge was excellent and he had some good Q & A sessions (sometimes with prizes) to check how big Sopranos fans we all were, so if you're going buff up on your video box sets.

I would definetly recommend this tour. It was informative, fun, and very well presented. At no point were we bored, and the places we visited were particularly interesting to the group I was in as most of us are Sopranos fans. Even the member of our group who isn't a Sopranos fan, but does work in the movie industry, was impressed with the local and movie knowledge of the tour guide. It was also more than just a coach tour - we were encouraged to ask questions (which the guide confidently answered), we particpated in Sopranos trivia, we were able to get off the coach, have a look around, take photos/video, eat Cannoli (!), and visit the Bada Bing club! The tour guide knew his stuff, not only about the Sopranos, but also about the history of New Jersey/New York and was knowledgable about many aspects of the movie industry. At four hours the time flew by and was in no way boring - very well done, and I'm sure I would go again when I next visit New York. Richard Taylor (& Group) Manchester, UK

It was fun, a little long, but gave a lot cool behind the scenes info! My husband is a huge Sopranos fan, so he loved it, and he even though I have only seen it a handful of times I still enjoyed myself. I personally was uncomfortable with entering a strip club, so my husband and I just got a shot of the outside, and waited on everyone else.

We thought the tour was very insightful and entertaining. The guide being an extra on the show was a big bonus.

Although I felt the tour guide was wonderful, the content of the tour was less than what we expected, and disapointing.
