| I liked the tour and the guide certainly knew what he was talking about. However, I couldn't help but compare it to the Sex and the City tour, which showed clips of the locations in the episode as we passed each location. On the Sopranos tour, it was hard to picture the locations of the scenes as they were in the episodes b/c we saw very few clips. When we did see the clips, it was not at the time or close to the time of when we passed the sight.
Stopping at the restaurant was awesome. I wish we had a few more minutes to spend there. It was interesting to go to the Bada Bing, but 30 minutes was wayyy too much time to spend there, especially with your parents, brother and sister-in-law.
Seeing the character who plays Vito before the bus left Manhattan was pretty cool. Only he was completely unfriendly and was clearly hitting people up for money. |

| As a huge Sopranos fan, I previously went on the tour by myself back in June. However, my older brother, who is also a big fan, wanted to go on the tour on our latest trip to NYC this past weekend so I didn't hesitate to go again! Mark, the tour guide, was great as always and it was nice meeting Joe Gannascoli again as well as going back to Holstens. This tour is highly recommended! |

| This was a very well organised tour and the guide being a cast member made all the difference with the insights and background to the show. Great to see the clips on the bus before and after the sites, and plenty of opportunities for photos. Probably better photos from the right hand side of the bus though. Bring cash, as some of the locations don't take cards, and you may need to buy some "promotional material" before you can have a photo with one of the cast. |

| The guide was a great guy who knew lots of trivia about the show. The bus was comfortable. We met the character 'Vito' from the show, who selled some Soprano items and autographed our pictures. The tour itself showed us lots of Soprano's sites. Inside the Badabing (Satin Dolls) was great! It's a shame Satriales is broke down. Too bad we didn't stop at Pizzaland (from the intro). But luckily we could sit in the booth of the diner from the last scene of season 6.
Overall, me and my friend had a great time on the tour, you won't regret it! |

| The guides comments were very informative and really enjoyable, however the sites visited were a little bit "light". Ie the spot where Meadow parked her car in the last episode. It seemed to be padded out a little.
Maybe our expectations were too high and it is probably difficult after the show has ended. More clips on the bus in between sights might have helped lift it. The guide was very good. |

| I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of the location sites for The Sopranos. It made you feel like you were a part of the series. it was a real thrill to walk in the steps of the actors in the series. I am a enthusiastic fan of The Sopranos and I consider this a wonderful and amazing experience. |

| I'm usually not a fan of tours. Loads of tourist there only to take of photos and be annoying + a guide who couldn't care less. Well this tour was nothing like that. We were greeted by Joe Gannascoli (Vito) who, we were told, is not part of the tour but comes out cause he likes it. He was very professional, selling and signing the merchandise and taking photos. His photo pose was genius!
Our guide, Marc Baron (an occasional actor on the show himself), was brilliant! He knew so much about the show and about the sites and his way of presenting the info was great. Being part of the show meant that Marc had loads of inside stories which he was happy to share with us. Apart from being given all the details on the sites (why there were chosen, which episode they featured in etc), we also answered trivia questions and won prizes (my husband won a Satin Dolls aka Bada Bing poster that was part of the actual set!), watched clips and listened to music featured on the show.
The choice of sites we got to see "in flesh" was great.
We bought merchandise, took loads of photos, ate the best onion rings I've ever tasted, and saw some hot girls dance on a pole. :) Most importantly, we learned loads about the show and even got the inside scoop on whether there'll be a Sopranos film. Fellow tour goers were all decent people and seeing New Jersey was fun which I doubt we would've done otherwise bearing in mind we were staying in NYC for one week only.
So if you love the show and want to see New Jersey from the Soprsanos point of view, do go. You won't regret it!! |
