Sopranos Sites

Unfortunately we hit snow and had to turn back without completing the tour and we missed the big sites. Our host and driver were both great however and tried.

I'm a huge Sopranos fan, and snuck away for the day for a trip around the sites. I learned so much about the show I didn't know and loved seeing the sites.

I was impressed with the trip as it takes in many of the locations from the TV series. I would've like to have stopped at a couple of more stops on the way to take some decent photos but as our guide would say, "Poor you"; to quote Livia Soprano. Best thing I can recommend is to brush up on the show as there is a quiz and prizes are awarded. Sit back, enjoy the banter and clips from the DVD; discuss the ending and have a good time. It was nice to take a walk down memory lane. Oh, and enjoy the onion rings.

While the tour provided some insight to the series, I was disappointed in the overall tour. Firstly I was directed to a "car" where I was told I would meet an actor, well I did but it was to sell me something, waiting at the boot of the car was Vito, who presented me with an assortment of goods laid out in the boot, he was less than friendly and could not wait to take the cash and get me on my way. No how are you or small chat about the series, very disappointing. The tour guide was friendly and chatty, but the tour only made two stops, one at the site of the pork store which is no longer there, and the other at the bada bing, again a tad disappointing. Overall I would not recommend this tour, which is a shame as I am a huge fan, have the series and have watched it a number of times.

Excellent tour and detail on Sopranos series. Knowledgeable guide (Marc Baron) with good humour and first hand experience of such filming work to bring to life the relevant scenes visited. Enough time for photo shoots on the tour and a bonus to meet Joseph Gannascoli.

MARK (TOUR GUIDE) WAS VERY IMFORMATIVE; ENJOYED ALL THE SITES WE SAW

I´m a big fan of the series and so this tour was a really nice complement to my knowledge about it. vito from the series is gonna sell you merchandising in the beginning of the tour (kind of surprising but yeah...)and the guide was a business insider(actor himself, also appeared in the sopranos with small roles). also it´s really nice to see what new jersey looks like. however, the satriales shop has been torn down, so all you´ll get to see is the empty spot where it was. you´re going to the badabing/satin dolls which is kind of nice. it´s just a standard strip club I guess. also you can win all kinds of prices on the tour by answering questions on the sopranos. it´s pretty cool, the last stop before the badabing is holstons, the diner where the last scenes for the sopranos were filmed. the bus was great and there were some real sopranos nuts on the bus haha. I thought I´d know much cause I have seen all seasons six times or so but damn these guys had all the little details down. tons of trivia and the guide is always open to question. our guide was marc baron - www.marcbaron.info Very much recommended fo

enoyable tour

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour which re-aquainted me with a very happy 8 years of watching the Sopranos. Our guide was very informative and most of the places were interesting. The downside was that our bus broke down at the Bing and it was a bit uncomfortable trying to kill 90 minutes in a lap dance club.
