Tour Guide Gary was both funny and knowledgeable!
Thu, Sep 24  11:00 AM lilac132 Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Individual
There were 48 on the bus representing Germany, Canada, Japan, England, Australia, and the US. Tour Guide Gary was able to relate to all of us and keep us all entertained!

Nice trip

I enjoyed the tour with my friend and we liked it very much. It was interesting viewing the movies locations(we appreciated also movie parts on tv to recognise the locations). We are a little disappointed only about tour guide: she spoke too speedy and sometimes it was impossible to understand her (even if I think my English is not so bad..), and when we got off the bus she didn't wait for all the people to follow her, so I, my friend and other people got lost 2 times (i.e. lunch time at Ben's pizza). Maybe she was in a hurry, but next time I'll prefer to have a 4 hours tour to have more time to eat a slice of pizza and not to run after the tour guide.

We really enjoyed the tour. Roseanne was enthusiastic and enjoyable to listen to. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NY and we think it was extremely good value for money. Thanks for a lovely day.

Should attend if you are a movie/TV fan

The tour was interesting and the guide very enthusiastic. The guide clearly knew her stuff and kept us entertained the whole time with snippets of information regarding the various locations and the movies/TV shows in which they were featured. As this tour is focused solely on US movies and TV shows, one will find it entertaining only if you have been following those shows. If not, some of the jokes/stories will just go over your head.

this is the third time i have taken this tour(with different friends) and each time it is great and i see new places/new info. our leader was on time,personable,enthusiasm(5stars), friendliness(5stars),amount of info(5stars). organization(5stars) The only thing I would change, which wasn't her fault, is returning where you picked us up.We weren't told that when we booked and one of us had a foot problem and couldn't walk that far back to the hotel. the starting point was near our hotel. That entailed a cab drive that we hadn't planned on. The stop for lunch was great and that was the first time i'd done that. I wish you would add more days for the central park walking tour, movies etc. we weren't going to be in town, friday/sat. so had to miss that. But in general it was wonderful.

On our previous trip to NYC we'd done a gray line tour which was very enjoyable so we thought we'd go for something a bit different this time. The tour essentially comprised of driving around being told 'x scene from x movie was shot here', which was expected but that was it. There was no trivia or explanation as to how the movie was actually shot and the scope of films described was limited - Spiderman and I am legend were the main references. As the tour was three and a half hours long it got a bit boring after a while. If this is your first time to NYC I would recommend a gray line tour as it gives you an overall view of the city and the tour guides are pretty good (well ours was anyway). I'd only do this one if you're a diehard movie fan.

Went for the teenagers to see "Friends" location

BUT.....really enjoyed seeing parts of NYC I had never seen before. In our short but expensive visits to the Big Apple, we have always stayed close to the Theatre District since our main purpose for the visit is to see a show. After reading about the set tour and realizing "Friends" was included, we thought our two teens would love that...and they did! I loved seeing Greenwich Village, Tribeca, SoHo, etc. and didn't really care about the movie connections. Our tour guide, Kimberly, was so incredibly knowledgable and it was great we were able to get a delicious and cheap lunch at the pizza place in Soho!

We really enjoyed the TV & Movie Tour, not only was it very factual and informative but predominantly it was really fun! Jessica was a lovely guide who made the tour really enjoyable. Liked all the different sites and movies included. Would definitely recommend to others, well done On Location Tours!
