| I have visited New York 5 times and thought I had seen it all! I decided to take the Movie/TV tour and loved every second of it!!! Not only did I see so many wonderful movie/tv sites but I discovered parts of NY that I had never visited before!! What a great tour!! And, Roseanne (our guide) was GREAT!! She had a wonderfully bubbly personality. You could tell she was a native New Yorker and was passionate about her town!!! |

| My sister, daughter, and I took the movie tour and enjoyed it very much. It was actually a little too long, we had to leave before it was over to catch a taxi for our lunch reservation. Very informative and we saw a lot of the city without walking forever. I wish only two things: the tour guide would have spoken a little more slowly (LOTS of trivia that my brain was too slow to absorb quickly!) and that the sights/clips were of more modern movies. Some of the things she talked about I had no idea and I'm almost 40, my daughter was bored with anything that wasn't 1990 or newer. Good time, though!
I also enjoyed knowing where some celebs live! |

| It was fun to see all these places I only have seen on tv or in the movies before. It is also great because it made it easier for us to find our way around manhattan on our own after the tour. |
|
A must if you are a TV buff.

| This tour was more than worth the money. Altough it is biased towards an American audience, I still enjoyed the bits I did know. The tour guide was very good and very enthusiastic, a nice touch was she bought all of us a black and white cake, delicious. The tour takes in Buildings from Taxi, Friends, Ghostbusters, Superman, Sex in the city, loads more that I have forgot or did`nt know. My favourite was the fire station in ghostbusters and you get to see the original sign if only for a split second. Overall a well worth tour and excellant value. Highly Recommend. |

| This was the 3rd OnLocation tour that I've taken (I've done Sex and the City as well as The Sopranos).
having had such a wonderful experience on those tours, I was afraid that this tour may not prove to be as enjoyable, as it was not specifically geared to a show/movie that I knew I enjoyed.
This tour proved to be just as much fun as the others and it is apparent that On Location is very selective when hiring their tour guides.
Our guide, Roseanne, is an actress who also works for On Location. She not only had the information and trivia you would expect from such a tour, she is just a really fun, enjoyable person to spend an afternoon with.
We had a small snafu in which a tiny car hit our bus. While we were delayed for a few minutes, both Roseanne and our driver, Sung Choy (my apologies if misspelled) handled the situation with grace and professionalism. None of us minded that the tour ran over time because we had such a good time!
This is most definitely worth the time and money if you want a more generalized tour. if you want something geared toward one show specifically, the Sex and the City and Sopranos tours are also well worth it. |

| I must say this tour was alot of fun. Kimberly was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and friendly, helping take pictures at all stops. The tour started right on time and though we were concerned with the Pope being in town on the same day, everything went smoothly. We went all over the city and saw alot of interesting sites. For us, it was great becuase we had been crisscrossing the city as it was, but we were using the subway. While the subway is great, you don't actully see anything since its traveling below ground. So an above ground tour on a comfortable bus (w/ bathroom) was perfect as it allowed us to see alot of the city that we wouldn't otherwise. (one thing about the bus: while the interior was clean and comfortable, the outside of the windows were a bit dirty and streaked so when ever you snapped a pic of some famous site, you would inevitably also get that dirty stain in the pic as well.)
The tour itself was great. We went to a TON of different locations. I think it might have been a little better if we had been able to get out of the bus and see a few more sites up close, but considering the tour was 3.5 hours, I guess thats not feasible. Also, the time just flew by and did not feel like a long tour at all.
We did get out at the Cosby step which as great as a Cosby fan. We also got out and saw the Friends house which was also very cool. The rice pudding was excellent at the Hitch stop. ( i was very skeptical about it as it didnt sound very appealing but it was actually very good!)
All and all, I would highly recommend the tour. I did NOT do the NBC studio tour since I had heard so many bad things about it so I can't comment on it. But trust me, go on this one! |
