not for cinephiles

The tour is good for people with superficial knowledge of blockbusters..i knew already most locations, and you just pass by quickly with the bus. the stops done are not really "informative" in terms of movies. You spend most of th etime on te bus, just trying to get a glimpse of things....

Tour pointed out lots of locations, favourite being the Friends building. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Only downside was we got stuck in a lot of traffic, think mainly due to the fact that Obama was in town.

Even as a lifetime New Yorker I was surprised by some of the sites and stories. The tour was a good blend of sightseeing from a vehicle, on foot and of being given a little time to explore on your own.

Well worth the time and money, saw more of the city than we ever could have seen on our own. The tour guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Try it, you'll love it.

Had Roseanne take our group and she was bloody awesome!! Great way to start a break in NYC as it gets you around everything south of Central Park so you have a good idea of the area for the rest of your break! A must obviously for film fans but if there are any particular film spots you have interest in just make sure to ask!!!

More walking than we were led to believe...

My husband has serious mobility issues, so before booking I contacted customer service and was told there was almost no walking and that the stops were right in front of the sights. This is only true for 2 of the 5 stops. As well, the 25 minute stop in Soho wasn't required - I would have preferred to see more movie/TV locations. The guide (Anna) was great, and I liked seeing the movie clips AFTER seeing the actual location.

Our guide was delightful and informative, and it was great fun to recognize some of the more familiar scenes such as The Little Owl coffeehouse used to film many episodes of Friends. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys their movies and TV shows!

The tour was so enjoyable and the tour guide especially informative. The only thing I would add is the Seinfeld cafe. Seinfeld was and still is very popular in Australia and to see the cafe as well as the soup kitchen would be an added bonus.
