My daughter & myself thoroughly enjoyed the TV & Movie sights tour & our guide, Bianca, made it a fun trip & her knowledge was amazing. The hi-light for my daughter was our visit to the "Friends" building as she is an avid "Friends" fan. |

The TV & Movie tour was a great way to see some of the best locations in New York considered iconic from pop culture. The tour covered a great deal of terrotory and included a substantial list of locations and sites. Rosanne our guide was awesome. Very informative, and Funny as! We had a great time on the tour, and saw plenty that we had only ever seen on screen. We would do it again, and will happily recommend to anyone that they should do it themselves.
I have no critiscism at all on what we experienced, however, would offer a couple of suggestions that I think could make it even better. I would suggest having an all day tour covering as many TV and Movie locations as possible. This would enable even more to be seen, and enable more stops to be made, providing a bit more time for people to explore around various sites. Obviously being NYC too, traffic can be heavy and time consuming to get through. A longer tour could still ensure as much as possible is seen should traffic be an issue instead of having to fit in what you can to 3.5hrs. I would also suggest, if its not done already, that a double decker open top bus be utilised for the tour. Granted the day we went on our tour the weather had been ordinary, so an enclosed bus was ideal. But I think an open top bus would enable people to take as many photographs as possible while still moving on the bus, without obstruction, or reflection from taking photo's through windows. I'm a photographer, so thats a particular bug bear with me no matter I do. |

Although not stated, I had thought this would be an open top bus tour and was a little bit disappointed that it was a regular coach, especially because we got the only seat at the back of the bus. I worried it would limit photo opportunities and would be uncomfortable for that length of time (3.5hrs). I'm glad to say that I needn't have worried! The tour includes several stops at famous buildings and, coupled with the fact that we had a great tour guide who knew LOADS about NY and the sites, it made for a really engaging and thoroughly enjoyable tour. We did it on our last day and it was a great way to see anything we missed. There really is a lot of content and Gary the tour guide was really willing to repeat any info. Some of the stops included Friends building, Cosby house, When Harry Met Sally and I Am Legend locations and much much more.
There were a couple of improvements that could be made. Firstly, it would have been better if the guide asked us to tell him what our fav TV shows and movies are. This would have helped please the crowd a little better and focus the content. Secondly, Gary gave too much credit to the ignorant driver (Peter?). I really hope they don't split the tips. The driver never spoke a word despite the number of times passengers thanked him. Also, don't expect to see any celebs as it's not guaranteed (of course). Lastly, the tour could have been made a little more fun somehow. Maybe it was just the crowd but it was a fairly quiet group! The bus looks a little dull and I'm sure there are ways of making it more exciting, like the famous Boston Duck Tour.
Overall, it was well worth the money and I would recommend this tour to any TV or movie buffs planning a trip to NY. |

good to see parts off the city I might have missed otherwise and being reminded off movie places I had forgotten. cool too realize how they change things to make them work better for there plan and view. wanted to have heard more about modern films and tv-shows and a map off places that we had visited and recomended places from movies and tv that was not included in the tour. |

I went on the New York TV & Movie Sites tour. The tour guide Roseanne Almanzar was very outgoing and just so friendly, her knowledge is of where celebrities live, where things are shot, is amazing!!
On the downside, 3 german girls on the tour kept screaming to the top of their lungs when Roseanne announced where Julia Roberts lived in one of the movies she starred in, and when Dean & Deluca's was pointed out (the place where Felicity worked). I suggest that tour guides ask people not to scream, and I think it might have actually only been one of those girls. I think all the tour leaders should at the beginning tell people if they scream, they get kicked off the bus.
I've been on longer tours and if people misbehave, they get asked to leave the bus, so On Location tours should do the same for their inmature customers. |

Our tour guide Rosanne was INCREDIBLE! Her knowledge of TV shows and movies was awesome! Thoroughly enjoyed our stops in Soho, Huxtable house, Friends apartment block! Was thrilling to have travelled around so much in such a short time.
We would DEFINITELY recommend this tour to all of our friends from Australia.
Looking forward to our next visit so we can partake in the Sex & The City tour!!! |

This tour was well organized, thoughtful and interactive. I found the tour guide to be pleasant, well informed and considerate of his group. I appreciated that film clips were shown on the bus while visiting a site to provide context and as a memory aid (especially for those older movies). The only suggestion I could make would be to include a few more different TV show references. |
