Terrific tour. Great guide

The guide (Gary) was enthusiatic, knowledgeable, amusing and welcoming. It took in all the main sites I wanted to see. Showing clips throughout the tours was a great idea so we could see the locations in the TV show or film.

The recent tv and movie tour was its money definitely worth!! We had such a great time during those hours, especially since Gerry was such a great and funny tour guide who made everybody laugh, but especially us girls!!! I liked the sights, even though sometimes they were a little bit too old, meaning from movies out of the 70s, which none of us knew about, since we weren't even born at that time! But there were recent movie referral too. So it was quite equal. I like the movies in between because they showed how the places where used in the movie itself and it was great to actually concentrate on the background rather than on the actors (like we usually do). What was especially fantastic was the fact that Gerry pointed out that one of the famous actresses is filming a movie right now in front of us!!! We definitely are going to do another tour, but haven't decided on which yet!!! Thank you very much!!!

Pretty Cool

We had a lot of fun on this tour. It was our first time in NYC, so It was cool that we got to see a lot of NYC neighborhoods as well as seeing the movie sites. I think there's something for everyone on this. My husband said there was a bit too much chick flick references, but i didn't think so (I think cuz the Movie Enchanted was mentioned A LOT). Our Tour Guide was awesome, she was able to answer every question. Plus we got to stop for a quick bite to eat, which was nice because the tour was three hours. Definitely got our money worth for sure!

We thought the tour was great, and Roseann, the guide was exceptionally good. She was very knowledgeable about movie and television information. We now find ourselves looking for movies just to see what we saw on the tour. It was really fun to see where the movies or t.v. shows were shot. We would do it, again, next trip.

TV/Movie Tour Review!

We had a wonderful time on the tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour lots of fun for us. Even if you are not a movie fan, the tour itself is a great way to get an overview of the city. Jason, our guide, obviously loves the movies and his enthusiasm was contagious! Thanks!

Enjoyable day out

A great idea for people who are in New York long enough to do it. (It took up most of the day.) Our teenage daughters are quite starstruck and my husband is a film buff so it was ideal for us. We were also ready for a day with less walking and the trip was fairly restful, although we did get to leave the bus to learn more about the locations and take photos. You are shown clips of the film/TV show on the bus before you see the location, which we found really good.

A Tour-de-Force in So Many Ways

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the NYC movie & tv locations. Our tour guide, Brian, was extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining. As for the tour...well, it's probably the best bang for your buck today. We highly recommend this for everyone...locals, out-of-staters and foreign visitors. A+++

good, but mentioned a few movies multiple times

Guide was very informative and entertaining, but movie scene sites were mainly from about 5 recent movies. Some were not that popular. Would have enjoyed more movies mentioned instead of hearing about "Enchanted" and "Sex In The City" so much and nothing about "NYPD Blue or "Rescue Me" (If not filmed there, it would have been nice to know where they did film and why.).

DOWNTOWN NEW YORK WITH A TOUCH OF TV
Fri, Apr 17, 09   11:00 AM damiansmyth Male 40-49 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The tour is excellent for seeing areas of New York that you may not normally get to visit e.g. East Village, West Village, Tribeca & Meat Packing district. Although the tour is described as a TV & Movie sites tour, it does tend to focus more on the American TV shows such as Cosby, Friends, Seinfeld. The Movie sites visited are a little limited in the tour and thus the international tourist may not know some of the sites that were visited. Also the sites visited are very 'old' e.g. Cosby House, Friends apartment building, these shows are classics but are no longer in production, it would be great to also include sites for shows such as Mad Men, Law & Order, CSI New York, Black Donnellys, Sopranos which are more recent or even still in production.
