New York TV and Movie Sites

Really enjoyed this tour thought it was great value for money and a good way to see a lot of Manhatten.

the stop at the "rice for riches" really contributed to the tour. our guide was very fun, very professional and interesting.

During my week-long vacation in New York, this was one of the very best times I had. The tour guide, Roseanne, is knowledgeable and passionate about her native city of New York and the subject of movie and TV production. She is a great speaker and knows how to engage an audience. Embodying all the qualities one would want in a tour guide--smart, funny, vivacious, articulate--she was a total delight. And the tour itself works on a couple of levels. For movie and TV buffs, it is a fascinating, behind-the-scenes look at how New York locales have been utilized in entertainment. But it also works as a great tour of the city itself. I have been to New York before, but I saw places on the tour that I had never visited before. It was a fun, relaxed way to see parts of the city I would never have ventured to on my own. I am so glad that I saw the brochure in my hotel and decided to take the tour. I cannot recomment it highly enough. And Roseanne should be commended for making this such a fun and memorable experience.

I took a school group of 31 teenagers from Scotland on this tour at the beginning of February 2007. It was a very cold morning so a good time to be on the bus. The tour guide was great, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The tour provided a good way to let students get a tour of neighbourhoods they might otherwise not see as well as feeding their enthusiasm for the movies. I suspect it could have been a little shorter as the students enthusiasm was beginning to wane in the last half hour, but other wise good. My only disappointment was that having arrived the required 15 mins early, the bus was then 20minutes late and we were frozen by the time got on board! Sufficiently impressed to recommend it and I plan the take the Sex in the City Tour when I go back to the city with my husband in April.

We all loved the tour! It brought us to parts of Manhattan that we wouldn't of had time to see otherwise. We also loved having the movie/tv show clips played on the bus while we were travelling through the city.

Fun, interesting, great outside stops, fantastic tour guide

Had a couple of family members visiting from the UK and they had limited time and energy so we booked the TV tour. Bus was broken - the bus company seem like a bunch of idiots and not very safe to be renting out vehicles they know don't work very well. Do they want a lawsuit? Our guide was very nice though and was quick to offer us alternatives if we had time to do the trip another day - we didn't so hopped on the replacement bus, which unfortunately didn't have video. On the tour, would be better to spend more time seeing current and popular shows - everything went by in a blur and a lot was US-centric only. I don't think the Cosby show is of much interest any more. A bathroom break would have been good too as our second coach didn't have one.

I thought you had a great tour. It was lots of fun and the tour guide, Roseanne, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. However, you do have Rescue Me on your advertisement and that was not on the tour.

I thoroughly enjoyed my New York Tv and Movie Location Tour, and was surprised at how much of New York I got to see. It was a great way to explore Chelsea, West Village and Greenwich Village, and our Tour Guide Roseanne was excellent. There was not one second when Roseanne wasn't telling us interesting things about the neighbourhood, and really made me want to learn more about New York. I have recommended this tour to my friends, some of which are New Yorkers, and we may be heading down this weekend to some of the bars I found along the way. Many many thanks. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of NewYork TV & movie sites.... It was very relaxed & enjoyable thanks to our guide, Brian. He was fun and factual and gave us all the information we needed plus a few fun facts as well. Also, showing the actual scenes in the movie clips as we drove was a big help in knowing the exact location of the movie/TV show. Thanks for a very cool tour of New York!
