Our tour guide, Brian, should be commended for his ability to think fast under pressure. In the middle of our tour, our bus got into an accident with a taxi. Brian handled the situation well and kept us focused on the tour and made sure we were all fine and safe. Great job!!

Although we decided to do the tour in the main due to the attraction of Friends we found the whole tour to be a worthwhile adventure. The tour guide in Jessica Verdi,a local actress who was passionate about the city and the shows and films that are based there, added to the experience with her obvious enthusiasm. There was a good mix of being on the bus and being able to get out and stretch your legs and having enough time at locations to take pictures. On a personal note I would have liked to have visited the Brooklyn bridge as it's such an impressive structure and featured in a classic film but it was great to see parts of the city we would not otherwise have seen during our stay.Memories of great film and TV moments are rekindled with the aide of video clips As a group we would thoroughly recommend this activity as it really gave something extra to our vacation.

Not Bad

I thought that the only thing wrong with this tour really was that the group of a full 56+ seater bus-ful was far too many. Because of this it was easy for people at the back (ie. us) to feel left out - although to be fair, our guide, kymberley, did her best to avoid that. the times when we had to get off the bus resulted in those sitting at the front of the bus being closest to the guide, which meant that it was nigh on impossible to get what was going on most of the time. I cannot fault the guide, just the organisation really - and it would have been nice in the freezing cold weather of NYC in January to get on the bus when we arrived rather than stand at the back of a long queue. The fact that the tour finished 30min early thanks to the driving made me wonder why we couldn't have covered more ground - basically the tour circled the central midtown area and greenwich village. There were lots of movies that could have been added in (although I agree there have been endless movies filmed there), sites that I knew about, and the accompanying dvd was quite unimpressive (the clips were too few and too short) and the tv was just far away enough to be difficult to see clearly. What made up for this was the guide's enthusiasm and the little freebies... so I would still recommend the tour, but would just let these little things be known about.

The tour was fun but on the coldest day this year the heating in the bus didn't work.

If you like TV and movies you'll love this tour! With the extremely knowledgeable Roseanne as our tour leader, everything movie and tv in New York, we saw it. Loved the black and white cookie and the Rice to Riches stop. Would have liked to see the Seinfeld restaurant but we were able to see it after our tour finished. The traffic in New York ensured that we got a good look at everything and didn't have to race through the tour. Loved it and would give it a 'two thumbs up' rating.

This tour was filled with excitement! The tour guide was extremely informative and added a little entertainment as well. It was great to actually see the sites in person. This tour made me want to scan previously viewed movies and t.v. shows just to compare or simply get another glimpse.

Thankyou for a very enjoyable day out with an excellent tour guide showing us the differnet places some movies and sit coms were filmed. Stopping to take pictures of the appartment used in Friends made my daughters day. Also stopping off to the Rice Pudding diner was excellent. The 3hrs went too quick and i enjoyed every second of it.

We love films and so this was a perfect tour to book up before we came over. It was very easy to book it, and really well organised from the pick up point to the end. We had a brilliant time, loved seeing all the places that the movies were filmed and then seeing clips on the TV of the films themselves. Our tour guide was Roseanne and she was fantastic - really enthusiastic about all the places and giving us snippets of info along the way. I would definitely recommend this tour to any of my friends who are taking a trip to New York, and would do it again if I came back, as Roseanne said the route is varied from time to time so that new things are added.
