| The tour is great for younger peole and kids. My son (12) loved the FRIENDS location, but I missed "older" locations, especially the Number One NYC film maker which is Woody Allen. I would have appreciated locations from "Manhattan"or "Radio Days" - the Russian Tearoom, Elaine's, the Radio City Music Hall. There are other films/actors than Ghostbusters, Men in Black and Will Smith. So, while the kid was quite enchanted, I was a little bit disappointed, because I had expected more "typical" NY locations. |

| I really enjoyed the tour but I think there should be more latest movies or CSI, something like that. |

| The tour was based on movies from 15 years ago, like Superman and Ghostbusters, it would of been better to have more current movies.
It was great to have the TV monitors to show clips from the movies |

It was very fun and informative.

| This was a wonderful tour and we enjoyed it very much. The tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. Her enthusiasm for TV shows and movies that showcase NY was contagous. Enjoyed the stops and the opportunity to get off the bus and see the areas up close. Would definitely recommend this tour to my friends. |

| Our tour guide was GREAT! She knew everything about all the locations we visited. The bus was very comfortable and the air conditioning was life-saving as we were in the City in mid July and it was hot~! We loved the tour and never would have been able to see the many locations without taking the tour. I also feel the tour was very affordable. I highly recommend this tour. |

| Three of us took this tour our last day in New York City. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain that day causing backups in traffic, so our tour bus was about an hour late getting to our meeting place - but our tour guide Gary was great about it and kept things organized.
Once the tour started we had a great time seeing all the spots, answering trivia questions and even singing along with Gary the "Friends" theme song.
I would definitely recommend this tour to all TV and movie fans - for us it was a great way to end our visit to New York City. |

| I was pleasantly surprised to see how this tour can appeal do different ages and different ideas on what makes a city tour cool and interesting.
You can see where I am heading with this....what 3+ hour activity can appeal to...
a. a parent with her 9 year old son, who, yes, likes Spiderman but hates to walk in NYC (even though he resides in NYC), and ...
b. his sixteen year old cousin from Australia who had ONLY 4 days in NYC and has arrived with great expectation to "do up the town".
c. it's wintertime (around Jan. 19th) and the beach is not an option, nor is 3 hours in a museum an option (remember, little legs tire easily).
What did I know? I've only lived in NYC for 22 years and have NEVER taken a movie site location tour in my life!
There was alot of "a little somethings" for everyone. Our tour guide was really terrific - very upbeat and friendly. She had a great sense of humor and she had an amazing grasp for information and details. She shared many interesting details not only about NYC film scenes and movie stars, but also about the history of NYC locations and behind-scenes movie shoot details.
I love NYC architecture and simply enjoyed looking out and up, at it all! - the tour is a wonderful way to see the city, and save your energy. It would have taken several days to make it to all the locations via subway and on foot...so the tour, is also a real time saver if you're short on time as a visiting tourist.
As for my 9 year old: Naturally, any site having to do with "Spiderman" films, grabbed his attention. The presentation was kid friendly, and quite respectful of omitting certain references to adult words (acceptable to adults, but not for children), yet she was able to deliver the jist of things.. Little legs were not exhausted by 4 short excursions to on-site walking tours, just enough for a nine year old who resorted to his PSP in moments of rest from the presentation.
The tour guide's riddles and rewards were also a great way to span the generations....as everyone hoped to win a lollipop or black and white cookie! Very smart move!
As for my 16 year old neice, visiting NYC (for the first time) from Sidney, Australia: This was, in large part, the BIG BONANZA! Not only coming to see NYC for the first time ever, but to also see (and relate to) movie scene locations and an abundance of interesting movie trivia. Her camera was clicking and you should have seen the look of jaw-dropping awe and wonder! Priceless!
I was happy, she was happy (that was my main goal) and my son...you could say, he throughly enjoyed trading a school day time with his cousin and a tour. He would highly reccomend it!
Thanks again to the tour guide. I forget her name, but she was fabulous and carried the day. Please tell her that! Thanks! |
