We were going to take one of the double decker busses, but were glad we went with the kids' suggestion for this tour. It was interesting, personalized and great fun! I have no reservation recommending the tour to anyone! |

Our group consisted of two adults and three children ages 8, 12 and 14. We were expecting much more. The guide was friendly. The bus had not air conditioning and was hot. The information provided was disjointed. Some of the information was interesting, but it really was in our opinion not much more that driving around looking at buildings (as we quickly drove by) and then later watching the video clips in which the buildings appeared. We did stop at a couple spots but found them to be not interesting to most people in our group. (eg. the diner where Bette Davis had lunch frequently). Our kids were the least impressed with this tour. I think you could do just as well by looking at photos on the web or by asking a knowledgeable New York taxi driver to take you around to famous sites while shopping in different neighborhoods. All in all, a waste of money and valuable time. |

Tour Too Long and Boring

On the Easter weekend my family took the TV and Movie Tour of Manhatten which we found to be a big disappointment. Three hours is definitely too lengthy for a tour of this nature. My teenage children could not relate to most of the movies and television shows mentioned. Although they did enjoy seeing the Friends apartment and the Cosby show doorsteps. Unfortunately it was not enough to keep them interested. As for my husband and I, we too were bored. The tour guide was sweet but kept laughing at his own jokes. In my opinion I would definitely not recommend this tour to families with teenages. As the matter of fact I would not recommend it to anyone under 20. We were so disappointed that we cut out after 2 hours. |

This is our second experience with a ZERVE tour and we can continue to recommend their services to everyone looking for a unique NYC experience. Kimberly was an EXCELLENT tour guide and her addition of Movia Trivia for lollipops was a cute touch.
Thanks for a truly fun time!

This was a fun tour- even though the bus had some air conditioning problems- and it was 80 degrees and some of the DVD equipment being used had some problems. Our guide, Brian, however- worked around them and gave us some interesting information. I think it was very good to have a New York native do this- as my family felt he was able to give some insight others may not have. We would have like to see a few places that were a little more current- i.e.- many of the younger passsengers probably never heard of Taxi Driver or knew much about the films that were over 20 years old. All in all- we would, and will, recommend this tour to anyone going to NYC for a visit. |

This was a great tour and one of the best tours you can get in New York City.
You can learn where stars live, where the popular hangouts are located, and walk into some of the best places where some of the greatest movies were filmed.
I definately recommend this tour. Not only is it a great tour for seeing movie and television locations - it is also a great way to see NYC. |

A fun way to learn about New York City - a city tour plus seeing places you have seen in the movies and on TV. Also learned some about the movie and TV industry. |
