We were met by our tour guide Brian very promptly at 11am for the Manhattan TV and Movie Tour. As we were entering the bus a CD was playing with the theme songs of many of the 1970 hit programs (bringing back memories). As we were cruising down the road and Brian pointing out many of the movie, tv locations and certain famous people visit or lived through out Manhattan, he would also share many of his personal expeiences with us since he lived in New York City all of his life which we found to be very informing. Learned what to be looking for as to if a movie or commerical was going to be filmed in days to come, laws and rules for filming in New York City, We also learned how the camera man got certain images and dog eye views ect. We have been coming to New York City for over 6 years and this was the first time taking this tour it was just remarkable. We also brought our 19 year old niece as she indicated she never heard of alot of these films but showing little clips along the way and how they were shot and actually seeing and comparing was so amazing and found to be very interesting . So yes we would highly recommed this tour to anyone visiting New York City it is a must and can be enjoyed by many. |

Generally I loved the Manhattan Movie Tour and I definitely recommend it - visit plenty of shooting locations in New York City, including Friends, Men in Black II and many others! Special thanks to the whole staff. |

3 hours is an optimal length, the tour started off very exciting (becuase of anticipation) and flattens out a bit towards the end.
Did we skip SpiderMan's restaurant? |

I highly recommend this tour that shows locations of both new and old well known TV programmes and Movies. As a family there was something for everyone and we even had breakfast at Ellens diner - They sang as they served the food! |

We saw so much of the city. It was fun to see where the TV and movies were shot. The tour is so much more than advertised and we had a great time. We are difinitely going to go on another of your tours on our next visit to NY. Thank you! |

It was a little long in the middle and traffic was heavy, but all in all it was fun. |

Whilst there were numerous American tourists on the tour, there were also many other nationalities. Seinfeld is not as popular in the UK as in America, and I felt that the tour concentrated 95% on that programme, rather than on other TV programmes and films. Myself and my partner were really disaapointed as it meant majority of the tour was irrelevant to us - we do not know the characters/storylines etc to Seinfeld. Due to how many times NEW YORK appears in films and TV, I felt there was much more I could have visited. I left feeling very disappointed. |

Enjoyed the tour. Bus and guide showed up on time and at the specified location - don't be late!
We (English family with two teenage boys) saw lots that was familiar, but we thought that a little too much time was spent on American TV shows we had never seen eg Cosby. Maybe the organisers could think about separating out the TV and movie locations into two separate tours as movies are international, TV is not always.
Guide also pointed out many celebrity homes - interesting.
Beware of using Expedia vouchers for this tour - several people on our tour using these turned up on the wrong day. |

First of all, our tour guide was FABULOUS. She not only gave us the tour info but being born and bred in Manhattan, she was able to share a lot of "inside" information that we wouldn't have otherwise gotten.
As far as the tour, we got to see all the "famous" spots of our favorite shows. She was very informative and certainly knew a lot about TV and movies. She knew the kind of things we would like to hear about our favorite stars, tv show and movies. I am so glad that I booked this tour. I would even take the tour again just because our guide was so entertaining and interesting. We got to see parts of Manhattan as well as the tv/movie spots. This was a great tour!!!! |
