Disappointing

The friends I was with are from France so they do not know the TV shows. I guess, my biggest concern is that what was advertised on the website is somewhat misleading. When it says, visit the apartment building where Friends live, we were expecting more than just seeing it from outside. I would try to be a bit more specific in the description. One last point, the young guide was, maybe, a little too enthusiastic. She spoke so much that for people who's first language is not English, they simply could not follow. I was ok but they totally lost interest.

An interesting view of the city...

Our tour was interesting and our tour guide knew a lot about the city and was able to throw in lots of fun facts. I have to admit, I wasn't familiar with some of the movies they referred to, especially the older ones... But you cant exepct to have seen every movie! We saw cool things like the soup nazi, the friends building and spots from tons of other shows etc... Definitely worth the money for a tour that's way more than just sightseeing.

Excellent tour - the guide was fantastic, she really knew her stuff. It was great seeing the locations. The only downside was the heavy traffic on the way back.

Interesting Even For A Non-Movie Buff

My entire family enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, energetic and very personable. I think Nickelodeon has benefitted your business with their evening line up having all old show re-runs, like Cosby, Full House with the Olsen twins, etc... My kids (13 & 10) were able to recognize and relate to many of those show location shots and stars, making it really fun for them. Thanks.

Such fun even though it rained!!!!!

My daughter & I had a wonderful time on this tour. Not only seeing the movie & tv locations it gave us a better perspective of direction and how all of the areas fit together. We saw some beautiful streets that otherwise we would not have seen even though have been to the city many times. It rained but that was not problem. The tour guide was informative and fun. The use of tv monitors on the bus to replay sites was fun and made you want to see these film/shows again. Especially loved the trivia. I would highly reccommend this tour to others. Would do it again.

Exceeded our expectations!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the Manhattan TV and Movie Tour. Even a rainy day did not put a damper on the tour. Our guide and bus driver were friendly and entertaining ... the highlights for us were the Huxtable House, the Friends apt. building, and recognizing where scenes from Big Daddy , Men in Black and Hitch took place. I enjoyed learning about sights such as the Flat Iron building, and it was fun seeing where many celebrities live throughout the city. I'm glad we found this tour, it was great fun!

Not for families

The guide was very knowledgable and had a personable, humorous personality. I had four children with me and wish I hadn't taken them. It was entertaining but I would not recommend it to families with children. She even stated on the tour that it was a PG rated tour . It was indeed PG-13 and in my opinion with some of the comments made it was rated R. A few examples are as follows. She talked about Seinfeld and mentioned one episode about being "sponge-worthy". That was indeed inappropriate and if asked by my youngest child, who is 10, hard to explain. Others included things about Sex in the City. She said that she was giving us freebies because our tour wasn't to include Sex in the City. I personally wish she had never mentioned Sex In the City. We passed a " bikers bar"(I can't remember the name she gave) and she said that if you danced on the bar and took your bra off they would hang it on the wall. She told us that Julia Roberts and others had done it. As we passed the Chelsea Hotel she told us Brittany Spears had been found passed out and puking in their toilet etc. It would have been a much better tour without these unecessary details that didn't add anything for children or adults. It was fun to see where famous stars live and seeing the clips to movies as we passed locations were highlights. The stop at Maya Schaper's was fun and the brownies were delicious!

We had a great time, I wish the bus stopped more often so we could have taken more pictures. We saw so many more sights than we would have seen on our own. The tv's in the bus were really nice.
