I highly recommend this tour, it was awesome, our tour guide was great and very helpful and enthusiastic. It was cool to watch the movies on the tv and then look around and see that we were on the set. It was the best part of my trip there.

Would recommeded to any film fan! Also suggest to take the tour early in your holidays as you see alot on new york and it gives you time to go back later in the week. We took it late in our holiday so didn't have time to check out some of the places! Highly recommeded!

Not Enough Time Allocated to Viewing the Sites

There were many times where the tour leader would say there is the Olsen Twins house on the right and by the time I could get my camera up, it was gone, the bus never slowed down. all wee did was pass by. A quick drive by on a closed bus just isn't a close up enough view of these "sites". The tour leader was excellent but something should be done so that a tourist could actually see what was being announced. Maybe this is an inherent problem in New York due to traffic and congestion. I would never take the tour again....

Discovering Manhattan

Taking the Video Movie bus tour was probably the best thing we did to begin our weekend in Manhattan. Not only were we shown TV and movie sites that otherwise would remain undiscovered, we were also shown the buildings where many of our favorite actors and actresses live. For example, not only was the Dakota Building pointed out, but the building a few blocks before, where Goldie Hawn and Al Pacino live. A few blocks away, was the building where Madonna lives. The West Village homes of JFK Jr., and Monica Lewinski, as well as the nightclub where Brittany Spears and others go. The tour guide was excellent, and the only negative was that we didn't see the Restaurant from the Seinfeld show. But that could probably be found more easily than some of the more elusive sites we saw.

We had an awesome time. For 3 of the four in the group it was their first time in New York. One of my favorite things was the "You've Got mail" sights. I love that movie. The cheese was good too. I would recommend this to anyone who is a t.v. or movie nut.The guide was great too she kept it fun. If you are going to be in New York you really need to take the tour and learn a lot about the city too. Enjoy.Best deal for your bucks.

LOVED THIS TOUR. OUR GUIDE ROSEANNE WAS WORTH THE PRICE ALONE! SHE WAS EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING. ALSO LIKED THAT THE ACTUAL MOVIE SCENES WERE SHOWN ON THE BUS T.V.'S AT EACH LOCATION. IT'S A GREAT TOUR FOR SEEING THE DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE CITY AS WELL AS THE TV AND MOVIE LOCATIONS.

This tour was a lot of fun and provided lots of information. The tour guide was entertaining, although a little rushed because she had an appointment right after the tour. I would recommend this tour, especially to anyone who watches friends or seinfeld.

A great time spent!

I recently took the Manhattan TV and Movie Tour on a Friday morning. I was able to easily book the tickets on-line for myself, my husband and my daughter (a college student now living in NYC). It was a really fun time! We spent 3 hours riding around the city viewing TV/Movie locations such as exterior shots of the Huxtable house on The Cosby Show, scenes from Spiderman, Friends, Soup Nazi from Seinfeld and many more. The trip was highlighted with clips on the bus TV from these shows and movies. We even got to sample some delectable treats along the way! Three stops were provided on the tour for us to get off the bus, explore and have a photo op. Our tour guide was loaded with personality and knowledge about current gossip, which made the adventure even more fun. Toward the end of the tour, she engaged her passengers in a friendly game of trivia; correct answers were rewarded with a piece of candy. At the conclusion of the tour, all of us agreed that we had had a great time and even saw some new sites of the city that we had never seen. It's a great way to spend 3 hours, to see NYC and to see where your favorite TV shows and movies were shot. I highly recommend it!
