It's worth it!!

My husband and I adore NYC and had the opportunity to spend a few days away from the kids. Our time was very valuable. We took this tour the first morning being in the city and really enjoyed it. It got us centered and have a more appreciation for the city. Seeing where different movie shots took place while reviewing movie clips was awesome. We also had a chance to see places we wanted to visit further after the tour. Our tour guide was amazing and funny. She is a native NY'er and actress so we gained much knowledge and insight of "the business" and the city. One thing I didn't like when riding the bus was it was when the tour guide would mention a sight, we would pass it before I could see what she was talking about. Talk about a NY second!!! This only happened a few times. You'll have plenty of chances to get off the bus and take in sites. If you're debating whether to go...do it. You'll enjoy it.

A great tour, but better go in summer

It's a great tour and you can get more detailed look of New York. Jessica is a good guide and really funny. What impresses me is she knows a lot about moives and TVs, well, that's what they are doing. The only thing is try not to go in the winter, it's cold (sometimes rainy)and you won't get a good view in the bus. Overall, I've enjoyed the trip, wishing to come back next summer and go with them again.

We had lots of fun - a great way to see different neighborhoods of Manhattan, get out of the bus now and then, and have amazing rice pudding.

We thought the tour was entertaining, but it would have been more interesting if it included more locations from more current and very popular movies. Some of the locations we went to were spots for movies I haven't heard of. Also, I remember reading that the tour will show Meg Ryan's bookstore in You've Got Mail, and we didn't stop there. Nevertheless, our tour guide Kimberly was very cheerful and energetic and kept us entertained for the whole 3 hours.

Brian was an excellent, informative, humorous tour guide. For a native New Yorker back home to visit, I was astounded at how little i knew was going on in my home-city. I told my bronx neighbors and they (who live here 24-7 never heard of the tours!!!) said they all plan to take the tours next year!!! Please give Brian a raise..he needs help paying his rent and he really made this tour worth every penny!!

Relaxing and Informational!

Brian was a great tour guide. He was extremely energetic and funny. The bus took us all the way from Central Park to Little Italy...so we cover a lot of land fast. He showed us all kinds of buildings and locations used in tv and movies such as the Friend's apartment, Ghostbusters firehouse, Rice to Riches from Hitch (you get a sample of rice pudding that comes in 30 different flavors!), different hotels from Two Weeks Notice, When Harry Met Sally, the Cosby House...just to name a few! He also told us a little bit about each neighborhood. It was a very relaxing tour because the bus took you everywhere and you got out 3 or 4 times to look at sites. My one complaint is the bus is nasty. It's dirty and smells like disgusting bathroom. Granted we were next to the onboard bathroom but still! It made me want to barf. I would recommend this to a someone who is new to New York and wants to see a little bit of everything fast. Then you can decide what areas you'd like to revisit on your vacation.

Great for families!

The tour was so much fun! I was looking for something that would be fun, interesting and entertaining for the whole family (ages 15 years and up). This totally fit the bill! There were 7 of us on the tour so there was always at least one of us who was familiar with the movie or TV show being highlighted! Everyone was engaged and each one of us would recommend it to others.

Enthusiastic, Informative, and Fun!

With all the tourguides being actors, the whole presentation is wonderful! We appreciated all the neat stuff we learned and enjoyed her enthusiasm. It's wonderful how our guide acted like she was sharing for the first time! Ever since we returned home, we've been able to tell all of our fun-facts to our friends as well as show snapshots of famous TV/Movie spots we visited.

Interesting and informative tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our Manhattan TV and Movie tour, although if we watched Seinfeld, Law & Order and Cosby Show it would have meant more to us. It was a good way to sight see at the same time and the courier was very interesting to listen to. we would recommend it.
