Impersonal, and didn't know half the movies

I'd always imagined going to New york just to check out all the sites of the movies I loved would be awesome, but this tour was a huge disappointment. There were very few movies i actually recognised, let alone sites. Also, Breakfast at Tiffany's being such an iconic movie, I expected there to be at least a brief stop. We drove right past it.

If you are coming on this tour make sure you like films, there were some people on ours who moaned all the way that they hadnt heard of quite famous films. Other than this the tour was great fun and takes you to sites that otherwise are a little out of the way to easily find/visit.

My niece and I had never been to the Big Apple before. Bryan Taylor gave us a great tour of some famous TV and movie sets. He was very informative and humorous. We got his picture, and hope to see him on the big screen someday!

my favourite tour while in NYC

My husband and I visited New York for the first time and were recommended to take this short tour by my daughter and her Fiance who had done this tour a couple of years ago. If you are a movie fan then this is a must for you. See locations that appear in your favourite movies. Be entertained by your tour guide who will be very knowledgeable about the locations and the stars who appear in the movies. Also see some areas of NY that you maybe wouldn't find on your own. We found this trip which lasts only two to two and a half hours very enjoyable if maybe a little too short. However, well worth the money.

this was an excellent way to get to see manhattan and all the surrounding areas that you would never go into if you just had a couple days there. also learned about many different places. the only thing i would like to h ave heard more of was more recent movies that had been filmed rather than old ones, since i am from the younger generation and have not heard or seen many of the movies talkd about. other than that the tour was great and the guide was very enthusiastic, entertaining, and informative! i would definitely reccomend anyone to take this tour!

This is a great way to see New York

We went on one of these tours in San Fransisco, loved it, so took the New York Movie Tour. The guide was good, the stops were fun, and we got our bearings around the city. Our daughter went to NYU, so we had been to NY several times, but there were some neighborhoods we had never seen, and this was the way to see them. We jumped off the tour near the end because it was close to a restaurant where we had reservations, though I hated to miss any of it. It is definitely worth the money. They stopped at a famous rice pudding restaurant, but we did not go in-people seemed to love it. Walked by the famous Magnolia bakery. Saw famous movie sights everywhere. In fact the info was overwhelming. The video did not work on the bus, and that was disappointing. In San Fran they showed the seen from the movie while you were at the sight. I highly recommend it as one of the first things you do, because so many of the NY sights pointed out in the other tours, you have already seen on this one.

My wife and daughter and I enjoyed the tour. Perhaps another tour of other sites on the Upper East and West side would be good as well. The tour guide was delightful. Her name was Jessica. The bus was very comfortable after a day of walking around. Would come again.

I highly reccommend this tour. Not only do you get a great tour of New York city, but you also get interesting information about movies and television shows that have been filmed in the city. The tour guide was fun and was full of all kind of facts about what we were seeing. It really was a great time!
