New York TV & Movie Sites

We toured on a very rainy windy day. Our guide was entertaining. Unfortunately the DVD equipment kept turning off and we were not able to see all of the movie clips.

Gary was our tour guide. Very knowledgable and entertaining. Loved seeing all the sites used in tv and movies. Our bus was even lucky enough to see Spiderman being filmed on the streets of NYC!

Had a great time - would definitely take the tour again!!

I am in the city quite a bit for work, but have never taken a tour of the city. My mother and I wanted to spend the day in the city and wasn't sure what to do. This was a great way to see the sites without having to walk too much. Roseanne our tour guide was amazing. She catered to the audience and made sure to point out the sites based on the shows/movies people watched. The stops at the sites were the perfect amount of time. Looking forward to booking another tour.

Our tour of New York was wonderful. My daughter and I travel to NYC every 6 months or so. This is our first time on a tour like this. Our guide was extremely informative and had a great sense of humor. (Thanks Scott!) I would recommend this tour to people that want to get to know NYC. We felt we got a great overview of various NYC neighborhoods and some great places that we would like to visit.

Gary was excellent---we loved all the sights and sites. We appreciated him pointing out the "Law and Order:SVU" filming in front of the courthouse. Kara and Maryellen (12) loved it! It was all a real treat.

This was 3hrs long but it seemed so much could have been contained within it.

I was disappointed because the tourist guy did not show us a location that was in the area we were in. He was over friendly and had boring jokes.

The tour guide, Gary, had a wonderful personality and made the tour enjoyable.But I was still disappointed. I had found out about this site on the internet by typing in "Law and Order Tour". It had stated on your ad that: "If you have a particular interest in locations from a specific TV show or movie, please let your tour guide know and we will do our best to accomodate your request" My girlfriend and I had specifically asked for Law and Order references, and he told us everywhere is Law and Order. Did not point out anything specific, although I mentioned to him a few times. Even going to the Courthouse, we were a distance off and the bus did not even go next door to the DA's office, both buildings were classics in the show. Not only that, it seemed as if the guide had an affinity for "Ghostbusters" and "Friends." Too much in fact. Too many mentions of the shows/movies that he liked. There were so many other movies, TV shows that were more NYC based. The tour was nice, and Gary was funny, but it didn't feel special. I think it was more the fault of how you advertised.

Upon booking this tour I felt it would be a good way to learn about the different areas of Manhatten. We were in a very packed and very warm bus which drove around the city while the tour leader pointed out places where celebrities lived and where movies were filmed. He spent more time speaking about himself and his career then NYC. We stopped BRIEFLY at Washington Square, the #8 firehouse, the Cosby house and a 20 minute lunch stop. We did receive a famouse black and white cookie which was a nice touch but we were given a small booklet shortly before the end of the tour which included an envelope for tour guide tips which was just tacky. It was a waste of time and money. Someone told us not to do the bus tour and my husband and I felt it would be a great way to learn about the city so we did it anyway. I would not recommend
