New York TV and Movie Sites

Our guide was delightful and informative, and it was great fun to recognize some of the more familiar scenes such as The Little Owl coffeehouse used to film many episodes of Friends. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys their movies and TV shows!

The tour was so enjoyable and the tour guide especially informative. The only thing I would add is the Seinfeld cafe. Seinfeld was and still is very popular in Australia and to see the cafe as well as the soup kitchen would be an added bonus.

Tour was well organised with good use of clips on the screens. Tour guide was lively and entertaining, with excellent knowledge of both movies and TV shows. Liked that we got time on and off the bus. Would be good if it covered more international movies/TV as well as US focussed content.

Went on the Movie Tour with Anna Lewgood on Sunday 16 September, 2012 - What a Fantastic girl she is - she was so helpful and the information we got from her was exceptional - The tour was wonderful and we thoroughly recommend it - Modern TV show locations like Blue Bloods and Newsroom are shown and fantastic movies like I am Legend-Big Daddy-Devil wears Prada- Scent of a Woman - etc etc etc - Anna told stories and gave quality advice. Maybe it was because it was on a bus, but I was pretty disappointed. I was travelling solo, so I shared my seat with another traveller, who in all fairness took the window seat first. So a lot of what was pointed out I missed. The 2nd stop was a waste of time to be honest. Our tour guide was great, very enthusiastic and obviously knew her stuff. But because I was in the isle seat and because we didn't stop, I missed a lot of what was being shown. I just didn't think the tour was really worth it, and was a little let down.

It was fun and Gary was very informative. He tried his best to engage us and provided lots of movie references! He tried some trivia questions and was patient and fun with us all.

- great coverage of New York City - highly recommended if there for a short visit - you wil not get bored for a minute - super nice time especially if you are film / trivia lover

Not sure if it was because our guide was a big fan, but it seemed that we kept hearing about mainly Ghostbusters & Men In Black. I could also do without the DVDs being played and instead more info from the guide. Nothing mentioned about Sex & The City so don't expect that. It was fine as a mode of transport but I didn't find it super informative.

Guide was excellent and tailored it to our favourite shows and films.

Enjoyed a tour with a friend of mine - our tour director was Roseanne. She was very knowledgeable and made the trip a lot of fun! She definitely knew her facts, engaged us in contests and sing-alongs, took pictures for us and was eager to answer any questions. I grew up just outside Boston without too much knowledge of the city, so I hope to go on the Boston tour in the near future. I am also recommending your tour to my colleagues and friends form the New York area. The friend I traveled with was a native New Yorker and said she also had a great time and learned alot.
