a French young couple discovering NYC for the 1st time

we were looking for another way to dicover NYC and I am very interested in TV series like Friends or The Cosby Show. We wanted to see the real places we had been exposed to as teenagers & young adults while watching US TV series, US movies etc. We're pleased with this tour. We only regret that we havent been shown the manhole where Marylin Monroe stands, making her white dress fly. The comments by our host were really great. She knows a lot, she's fun, and she's available. I think I could recommend this tour.

A very entertaining and informing journey, with a very good (and funny) guide. Too expensive.

One person over in the States visiting daughter in NJ

As far as our guide, Erica, was concerned, she was splendid. Very enthusiastic about her subject (particularly 'Friends') and knowledgeable about films and TV in general. I suppose that very few interiors are filmed in NY but it would be more interesting if some more of these could be found. I was disappointed not to have any reference to 'When Harry Met Sally'; lots of which is filmed in New York and certainly the deli scene could have been shown at Katz Delicatessen. That might be an unreasonable criticism as it is a favourite film of mine and a tour cannot be expected to cover every person's favourite film. Because a lot of clients are visitors from overseas, it might be better to focus more on film than TV as movies would be more familiar. On the whole, I would recommend the tour and I certainly expect to look at movies filmed in NY differently in the future.

My guide was very entertaining and informative. I felt like the tour was a good value for the ticket price and I'd highly recommend this outing to other visitors.

The tour was wonderful! I was amazed at how much we were able to see and do during three hours! Roseanne was so entertaining, and totally hel our interest. She offered TONS of great information about the city as well as the filming. Fact really did meet fiction in a terrific way! It was a great idea to show clips of the shows and movies we were talking about; it realy helped us to see the locations used. I've already recommended this tour two a frend and a co-worker who will be in NYC soon (One even this weekend)!

Our tour guide was very abrasive and somewhat annoying to me. The tour itself was not organized so that we could really see all of the sites the guide was talking about, and often we would drive by before she would get around to talking about it. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. I was very disappointed.

I thought that for the most part it was enjoyable. We got to see lots of parts of the city and lots of movie/tv places, which was fun. It was too long for me though. 3 hours is a long time for people who don't like to sit around. If you're an on the go kind of person this tour is probably too long. The first 2 hours were really great though.

I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone!! I love finding out about all the movie and celebrity info in town. Our tour guide, I believe her name was Rose Anne was perfect! I could have lisented to her knowledge about her city for another 3 hours! I am definately planning to go on the tour again when I am back in town.
