After debating which TV tour to take my mum and I decided to do the general TV and Movie one as not being an avid fan of any particular show there would be lots of various sets for my mum to recognise. I am just a fan of anything made in New York.
We both thought the tour was fantastic and far better than any generic New York bus tour we did. From the laughs our guide Kymberly and driver Kevin gave us, to the sing alongs of 'Smelly Cat' from Friends, the competition heating up of the trivia questions and of course the sets!! Loads more than I was expecting, old and new, classic and contemporary.
We covered locations from Superman, The Devil Wears Prada, When Harry Met Sally, Coyote Ugly, An Affair to Remember, Serpico, Micky Blue Eyes, Spiderman, SATC, Friends of course, Big Daddy, Fatal Attraction, The Bourne Ultimatum, Ghostbusters, The Cosby Show, Hitch, Seinfeld, Arthur, Big, Home Alone, Barefoot in the Park, Annie, the Godfather and the list goes on and on!
The knowledge of our guide was amazing in that she could answer any question about the sets and we had the chance to get off the bus, walk round some of the locations and of course take some fab pictures!
This is a fantastic tour for all ages (PG rated) and I highly recommend it to everyone. Even if you're not a big fan of TV, you will have a lot of fun and get a great tour of New York.
Thanks a lot guys and next time I'm over from Ireland, I'll be doing the SATC one! Can't wait!! |

I did this tour with our youngsters (22, 24 years old). It was very interesting and funny not only for them but also for me.
Our guide Kimberley is a good actress, singer and impersonater. Her comments and explanations were funny and entertaining - just a good mix.
Kevin is a good, friendly and patient driver.
Summary: a good tour and an even better team. Good entertainment! |

Me and my friend did this tour last week. We were looking forward to it, because we've never been to NYC before and really wanted to see those 'special places' behind the movies and tv.
Well, it was money very well spend. Our tourguide Brian did a great job telling us enthusiastically about all the sightings. We could tell he has a great passion about all this. With good humor he told us all about the things we were driving passed, while showing us clips from the movies itselves.
We are still talking about this and are VERY happy this tour made our NY-experience complete! |

Brian was simply a fabulous guide. As a New York City native, he was extremely knowlegable about the city. As an NYU drama graduate and current actor, he had all the "inside story" on movie making, TV, and other cinematic activities in the city. He was enthusiastic and truly enjoyed the tour as much as we did. Would highly recommend!! |

I would have liked to stop some places that were a little more exciting and gotten off the bus to go in and see. I enjoyed stopping at Rice to Riches. |

My niece and I had never been to the Big Apple before. Bryan Taylor gave us a great tour of some famous TV and movie sets. He was very informative and humorous. We got his picture, and hope to see him on the big screen someday! |

My tour guide, Jessica, was fantastic, bubbly, and entertaining. Even though I've been to New York numerous times, I felt this tour definitely added a unique view into the spirit of this wonderful city and its citizens. Thank you, Jessica! |

We were on a girls weekend and decided before we left for New York to take this tour. I previously lived in New York and would always take friends and family on the double decker buses since they would usually provide a lot of information and you could see most of the city. Two of us were seasoned travlers to New York and the other was a first-timer to the city. From the moment we got on the bus to even now all we can talk about was how much fun this was. It was fun to be able to see the places from movies/tv and the fun we had really set the tone for the rest of our weekend. I have taken A LOT of tours in New York and this was the best yet. Brian was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and put up with me. (That's no easy task) We really enjoyed the sites but I'm ashamed to admit we had just as much fun seeing the sites as we did singing along to the tv theme songs they play on the bus. THANKS AGAIN BRIAN!!! |

Allowed us to see parts of NYC that we would not have otherwise seen. Enjoyed that there were a couple of stops along the way. Also enjoyed the "treat" that was given.
It would have been nice to have given out a small map so you could see where you were in relation to all of Manhattan. It might have been a good idea to hand out the brochures with all of the movie sites before starting the tour.
Thanks!! |
