| I always wanted to take one of these tours but wanted to find one that 1) wouldn't suck and 2) wouldn't charge me a load of change for nothing. OnLocation's New York TV and Movie Sites tour was really cool and impressive for the ticket price - and Gary, our tour guide, was hilarious and knowledgeable about the city as well as the movie and TV industry in general. Very much worth the time and money! |

| I enjoyed this tour - it was not only a great way to see where movies and TV programs where filmed, but also seeing many suburbs of Manhatten as well. Recommended for first time travellers to NYC that are keen on movies. |

| This is a great tour to do to see many parts of the city. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I wanted to do this tour because I love TV and movie trivia. The only drawback was that there was not enough singing on the bus. |

| It was a fun tour. We saw lots of neat spots in New York where films and tv shows were made. I especially liked the fact that you get to see a clip of the scene in the movie or tv show after you've seen the real location. That pulls it all together for you. The only thing is I wish we didn't drive by some of the scenes so quickly. All in all, we enjoyed the tour. |

| Gary was our tour guide the last weekend in March. He was a helpful, friendly and relatively entertaining tour guide. He was quite knowledgeable of NYC and films.
The tour itself had good and bad points. The good is that it does give a fairly good look at much of the city. However, there is a lot focused in midtown. I was expecting to go from uptown to downtown and less in midtown - especially since most tourists are fairly adept at touring this area on their own. We didn't go uptown (upper east/west side) and we didn't go as far south as the financial district. The other (slightly) bad part is that it seems like most of the sights are from the same shows/movies. For example, there are MANY sights from Enchanted, Spiderman, and Borat. There weren't any sights from Sex and the City. Gary pointed out the bakery where the girls went for cupcakes, but I couldn't see it (I think it was down a side street). I guess the company just wants you to buy their SATC tour. I thought there would be at least 1 sight.
For future tourists: most of the tour is on the bus, and what/how much you see will depend on traffic. For example, since we were there on a Saturday, traffic was rather light so we sped past some sights (to go with the flow of traffic). We had 4 stops, I think. One stop was at the pizza place in Men In Black 2 (yeah, kinda random). The pizza was good, but we love pretty much all pizza. Also, our tour did not end where it started. For tourists, this can be rather alarming. I had to re-arrange my afternoon activities since we weren't in the area where I expected. We were still in midtown, it wasn't that difficult to figure out/navigate location.
Overall, this tour is a good deal for the money. I will definitely consider using On Location Tours next time I'm in the city. I want to do the SATC tour! :-) |

| Our tour guide was Bryan and he made the tour extra fun and interesting. It was fantastic seeing the locations used for my favourite T.V. shows and movies and the drive through New York was great because we got to see parts of the city that we would probarbly not have a chance to see in our short stay.
Definately recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city. |

| Had been to NYC four times and never done a tour like this and thought why not? Our Tour Guide was Gary who was the best, very very funny but also very informative about what had been filmed where and also gave us little inside tips on the Movie & TV Business. I found the tour really fun and even though I was by myself I still managed to have a great time! Would definitely recommend it to others who love their Movie's & TV Shows. |

| It was okay, you have to be a big movie buff, to know a lot of the movies, I was more interested in TV shows, wasn't really that many. We did really like our guy though. His name was Brian and he was very informed about movies and TV shows. You learn to look differently at TV shows and movies now, when you know a little bit about the filming of them. I wanted to get my picture taken on the steps of the Cosby Townhouse and was able to to that, so I was happy, my daughter is a Friends fan so she was able to see somethings that interested her. I also had an 18 year old daughter who attended and she was pretty board. So if you are a really big movie buff, this would be very interesting to you, otherwise it was just okay. |
