S. Togafau - Honolulu, HI
First off I would like to commend our Guide (Roseanne) and Driver (Mike) on a job well done...There were may interesting locations, though limited "Hop-0n / Hop-Off" experience. Roseanne is very knowledeable and quite friendly, and Mike drove extremely well, inspite of all the traffic. The Movie Clippings that were shown, prior to the up-coming locations, were quite helpful. In the future I would recommend more Hop-On / Hop-Off Locations, more Up-to-Date Sitcoms/Scenes, an additional hour would be great and a memorabilia for keep sake. The following are just a few locations for future reference:
1. King of Queen's (Up-to-Date Sitcom)
2. Serendipity 3 / Bloomingdale's (Serendipity)
3. The Waldorf Astoria (Coming To America)
4. Hotel used in Maid In Manhattan (Jennifer Lopez)
I recommend this tour to all who are TV "Junkies" and to everyone from Hawai'i who plan to visit the Big Apple.
Mahalo (Thank You) for the memorable tour... |

I really enjoyed my tour. The guide, Jessica (I believe) was fantastic! Very knowledgable, energetic and personable. The only problem that I had with the tour was the start/end time. I would have preferred an earlier start time of 9:30 or 10:00 so that I would have been able to do another tour later in the day (trying to fit as much in as possible in a short 4 day visit). Otherwise I would definitely recommend this tour. I'm hoping to come back soon to do the Sex and the City tour! I thought the black and white cookie we got was an added bonus and I liked getting the pamphlet outlining what we saw and also the sheet telling us which movies were being filmed in NYC at the time. Thanks!! |

I'd like to say that I did enjoy the tour and would recommend taking it keep that in mind when Im noting the negatives.
Lets start with the negatives.
This is a TV and MOVIE Tour. How can you NOT show "The Sheffields House" on "The Nanny", "The Jeffersons Building", The "Different Strokes" Building... I did some research before taking this tour realizing that these buildings which I REALLY wanted to see were not apart of this tour. I found the addresses and was Surprised to find out that they were on the east side within blocks of each other so I was able to park and find them myself which was actually a lot of fun. The Nanny's building is 7 East 75th off of Park Ave just a half a block from Central Park, Karen Walkers Building (Will and Grace) was on Park and 73rd, The DIfferent Stokes building was 900 Park Ave and The Jeffersons Building was Park and 85th.... It's noticeable and easy to find! I also found Will and Graces Apartment Building on the upper West Side at 155 Riverside Drive.
A negative for me but maybe not for you was the tour focused a little too much on Spiderman and Gossip Girls for me. I dont watch a lot of movies so I can't fault them for not knowing what they were showing me. Very little was mentioned about Superman, Big Business, Home Alone 2.... I understand it's a 3 hour tour and a HUGE city. Less Gossip Girl which Ive never watched and more variet would have been nice. At times the bus went too fast for me to snap a pic. Again, a busy city....what can you do. I will say the tour guide Rosanne was AWESOME! Very upbeat, very friendly, took the time to answer everyones questions, kept telling the bus driver when to stop and slow down so people could get pics.... I was very pleased with her.
Another positive was this trip showed you video clips from the shows so even if you didnt see the movie you could watch the clip.
The Bus was comfortable and the AC worked well.
Rosanne was very knowledgeable too. I found the Cosby House on my own the night before. I had no idea Autumn in NY was filmed in the house next door, another movie a few doors down and almost died when I found out Tina Turner filmed the What's Love Got To Do With It Video on that same block at the park! Love Tina! So again, you can do it on your own but it's another case of not knowing everything there is to know!
I'd recommend doing what I did, research and see if what you want to see is on the tour if not, find it in the city yourself! It's fun. Definitely take the tour though. You could spend all day traveling and walking and missing a lot otherwise.
One other thing is MAKE SURE you book the right date. I swear I did and think somehow the computer refreshed or reset which brought it to the day before. The Company wont do anything about it. Just double check! This tour sells out fast! Enjoy!

The tour guide could have been a little less talkative about her own personal experiences. I felt like I was getting an autobiography of her life story than information on different sites; however, she was very knowledgeable. Also there were some technical difficulties on the bus. Even still, it was definitely a highlight of my trip. |
