After going on a very good movie tour in San Francisco last year, we thought we'd try another. Our guide was knowledgable, lively and enthusiastic and encouraged audience participation with quiz questions and singing. Some might enjoy this but for us, it made the tour a bit amateur. Clips of TV shows and films were shown during the tour but often after we'd seen the site. It would have been much better if we'd been shown the clip/s first and then shown the site where it was filmed. Worth doing on your first morning in New York for a quick overview of the city but if you do it after that, you will see little more than you will have seen already. |

I enjoyed the tour very much. Our tour guide Gary added any info he could gicve about anything he knew. He did it while creating a fun, halerious enviroment amongst the tourists and that made all the difference |

This was my second time; the first was four years ago and with the same guide. I loved it last time. This time the locations were not so good, (seemed fewer), it seemed rushed, and guide was less inspired. |

This tour was interesting and mostly entertaining but considering we were in New York, I had hoped for more exciting locations and more fun film facts. There were a lot of locations from the same films mentioned and plenty of films I could think of that I knew were filmed in NY that didn't get a mention. We were made to change buses about 10 minutes into our tour which was a bit unprofessional and wasted time. Our guide was nice and funny but talked a little too much about himself which gave the impression he was a little self-involved and he wasn't very enthusiastic when we asked him questions. I am a huge film fan and I expected for the price that the tour would impress me more - it was good and a fun way to see the city, just wasn't amazing. |

The guide was extremenly informative, she knew loads about numerous programmes/films and was able to explain why particular locations were used. We were able to hop off the bus several times and see close up the places we thought we knew so well from the TV. We had a brilliant time and would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone interested in TV & film. |

This was a fun tour. Our tour guide, Roseanne, was extremely fun, informative, and enthusiastic:) However, there were 2 things I would have liked to see differently:
1) Begin and end in the same location. Because the tour ended in a different location and ended latter than expected, it added several blocks to our walk back to our hotel. We completed the tour the day we left and had a train to catch, so this made our departure a little more rushed.
2) I would have preferred more time in Soho. It was great getting out to get some food and to explore, but 20 minutes was not nearly enough time. 40 minutes would be a better time. |

This tour was so much fun!The tour guide did a great job being enthusiastic, and I saw so many things I wanted to while I was visiting NYC for the first time. This was one of the best choices of things to do in order to see everything and have someone take you through all the details without getting lost on your own. I would highly recommend anyone visiting NYC for the first time who is interested in seeing movie and TV location, take this tour. You will have a ton of fun! |
