A group of us took my sister on the tour for her 50th birthday. She is a movie and TV buff. It was the highlight of the day in NYC..... It was very informative and we had great tour guide (Kymberly)... We enjoyed the snack and stopping at Rice to Riches...I liked that the tour guide put some of her personal experiences into the explanation of the tour!!! We had a blast!!! I will definitely recommend this to others and would be very interested in doing one!!! |

Great tour, Loved the tour guide, Kim, she was outstanding and gave plenty of information regarding the movies, TV shows, and also about filming. Would highly recommend the tour to anyone. Especially if you always stay near Times Square, the tour gives an opportunity to go to near by towns. I would even go on the tour again. |

We enjoyed this tour, but found that much of it was very current (tv and movies) with which we were not familiar. It was still enjoyable, but a little long when so much of the tour was devoted to "Friends" which we didn't watch. |

Our tour guide was Roseanne Almanzar and she was very professional from the very start to us and to all the people on the tour. The coach was clean, air conditioned and had a toilet on board. The information and the delivery from our host was excellent, she was a New Yorker and it showed and her knowledge was vast. We had to take a couple of detours because of blocked roads, and still Roseanne new all the sites to point out of interest. We are returning to New York in 2008 with the complete family, and this will be the first tour I book, so my two teenage daughters and wife can experience the tour which my son and I did on this occasion. I cannot recommend this tour enough. |

My cousin from Florida wanted to see NYC. For his high school graduation gift I took him to the city for a one day visit. He is a movie fan and the On Location tour was ideal. We saw much more than we ever could have on our own and the tour guide, Rosanne, was very entertaining and informative. We both enjoyed to current movie and tv locations and I especially enjoyed the classic movie information. I would definately recommend the tour to other visitors and go again myself. If I have a chance I will try some of the other tours like the sopranos or sex in the city. |

I was hoping to see movie and TV locations, which, in a sense, is what we did. However, while the tour guide was nice enough, he was a little over-anxious to let us know he had been an extra in a couple of movies, and that he wanted to get into show business, etc. More than once he indicated that he had a college degree that he seems to think was a waste of time pursuing. No education is a waste, but really, who cares about his personal bio. One movie I love is "You've Got Mail". And in the advertisement it said you would get to see something from this movie. Not only did we not see anything to do with the movie, the guide said he had never seen the movie and didn't know where any of the locations shots were done but that he would have to get better with that. The movie is 10 years old for crying out loud! It was a very hot, humid summer day in New York and the air-conditioning on the bus was barely working, but they did apologize profusely. We did see some good stuff, it beats walking, but I wouldn't recommend this if there is something particularly you think you are going to see. Maybe ask the guide before boarding the bus what is included in the tour. |
