We both had fun seeing the television establishing shots and some of the movies. Why on Earth were there so many plugs for the movie Hitch? That movie was god awful! I don't know why we had to stop at that rice pudding store that was in the movie. It was pretty pointless and why were so many locations pointed out for that movie, surely there were more things to see... I would have liked to have seen some other will and grace and seinfeld locations. Going to other neighbourhoods was neat too. I really liked seeing the friends building and cosby. It is a really awesome way to see the city other than a generic city bus tour, that is if you like tv. So all in all worth the trip, you get a free cookie, see some good stuff, nice tour of city, if you don't mind the confusing and constant "Hitch" references peppering the tour. |

As soon as I read about this tour I knew I had to book it and I'm really glad I did! The tour was fantastic! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time!! Kimberly our tour guide was fantastic!!! She was friendly, helpful and very talented! This tour was one of the main highlights of our trip to New York! I have already told all my friends what a fantastic tim I had and showed them all my pictures... they all wish they could have gone to! I work for a concierge company in Canada and I regularly book New York tours and shows. I promise you that you will come highly reccomended from me! I intend to tell all my clients what a fantastic tour group you are! Thank you for the wonderful memories!! |

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We saw sights from Friends, Sex and the City, Will and Grace, Seinfeld, he Cosby show, Hitch, Superman, Men in Black, Ghostbusters, the Godfather, Regarding Henry, Two Weeks Notice, Harry Met Sally, One Fine Day and more. We loved that they show you video clips on the bus as you are seeing the real site out the window. There are a few stops, too, where you can get out for pictures. Out tour guide was an expert on every movie and show and truly enjoyed her role as guide. She even pointed out celebrity homes along the way. The only two drawbacks we encountered were the tour guide showing up late, making the tour leave a little late and the fact that the tour only goes from Midtown to Downtown. There was plenty to see in that area, but we had hoped it would go to the Upper West Side to show sites from You've Got Mail and Seinfeld. Other than that, we were very pleased. |

I enjoyed the tour a lot, it was made enjoyable by the informative and funny guide Kymberly. She did a great job with the tour and kept us awake through the relaxing bus ride. Keep up the good work and the sense of humor Kym. |

Our tour guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgable of the movies she was quoting, and enthusiastic about all that she was telling us.
The movies quoted during the tour needs to be updated in my opinion. |

Fantastic way to spend 3.5hours in New York. Seeing the actual locations made all the films and programmes come to life. Great to see the old shows and films getting a mention for the oldies while the current locations appeal to all.
We did the trip on our first day and went back to a couple of the spots over the rest of our trip. Great way to find your way about.

I was on a "girl's" trip to New York with my teen daughters. We are big tv and movie fans--"Friends" "Devil Wears Prada", you name it....we had a great time seeing all of the famous locations! |

Our Guide was thoroughly entertaining however..... |

New York TV and movie sites was a pretty good tour - our guide was great and helped made the whole trip entertaining. He was also thoroughly outsmarted by a member of the tour group who had a freakish memory for all things TV related - and together they joked and spurred each other on. It was never dull and he was extremely pleasant throughout the 4 or so hours it took (not the 3 that was mentioned originally on the site). Thumbs up to him.
My only real disappointment is the coverage of TV and movie sites. New York has been featured in so many movies that I expected to see much more of the city reflected in the tour. The areas where we got out of the bus and walked were not that interesting to me and I felt were almost a waste of time. Why not have an open top bus and just drive around Manhattan, slowly enough so people can take photos of things that interest them. Alternatively a smaller bus with windows that opened. I didn't see the need to actually get off the bus at times. The audio on the bus wasn't that impressive and the sites chosen didn't have the "wow" factor I thought they'd have.
To be fair - it was good, it was interesting, but I felt it lacked that extra bit of oomph. Perhaps someone can give it the punchline it needs and then the whole tour - not just the guide - will get the thumbs up. |
