On Location Tours

My best friend and I are big gossip girl friends - we had been looking forward to this tour for so long, had very high expectations, and this tour still managed to exceed it all and blow our minds. Even my oufriend came along. He just loved Rachel's animated personality and thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to her throughout the tour. Even he would do it again! Rachel's enthusiasm was palpable and infectious - her GG knowledge is spot on. Even the pretzel hotdog and wafles and dinges recommendations were awesome. The Henri Bendel's discount saved me enough money to earn back the cost of the GG tour (yes, I went 'craycray' in the Headband section- whatevs). The Financier Patisserie macaroons at the end of the tour were a really nice touch that made it feel very luxurious and UES. Would do this tour all over again and highly recommend it to everyone.

From beginning to end, this tour was absolutely Fab! Our Tour Guide Amy, was brilliant, cannot recommend her or the tour highly enough. I took the tour with my 23yr old daughter (we are both fans of the show), Will definitely do the tour again when next in New York. Since returning home we have watched all the Sex and the City Series again from start to finish, love, love, love! Thank you.

loved the mix of clips and info by guide and the recommendations for shows i haven't heard of yet. Most of all the friends' house, Soup man and some "classics" like refernces to barefoot in the park, breakfast at tiffany's etc

Our guide Amy was awesome! Very funny and enthusiastic, a great way to see the city too! Cupcakes were delicious!

This tour would have got five stars but for the video equipment that shows the relevant film clips not working at the start of the tour. A transfer to a different bus worked with the minimum of fuss but it was a shame the video equipment was not checked out in the first place. Otherwise the tour guide was excellent, very good at picking up on people's interests and giving them extra detail. It felt as if people were learning about things they wanted to learn about, rather than just being told what was on the script. Guide deserves five stars!

the screen and movies tour is very informative and well worth doing, the tour guide on the day we went was very informative and helpfull. my mother who is nearly 80 and my daughter who is 30 both enjoyed it, it is for all ages. you can get off the bus at certain stops and take photos maybe of the friends building or the ghostbusters fire station but you dont have to if you want to stay on the bus. also you will get to know which films are being shot at the time you are in new york. the tour is about 3.5 hours and i would recommened doing the morning tour so you have the rest of the day to do other things.

Excellent value for money. We loved the mix of stops, TV clips and Amy's interesting commentary. Loved the cup cakes and the cocktails and especially seeing parts of New York that we had never visited before. Will certainly tell all our friends about it. Thank you

We have just come back from New York, The tv and movie tour was a little dissapointing, we thought that we would have seen more than we did. My daughter is a great fan of ugly betty sex and the city and friends, all these are listed when seeing which tour to go on, we didn't see anything from the above apart from the friends block. So if you like the above probably best to book a seperate tour for sex and the city.

Tour guide Gary was very good and clearly enthusiastic. Our party had 2 children aged 16 and 18 years who complained that most of the sites were for their parents age and not theirs, they would have liked more locations for more recent programmes/movies. They also felt the same movies were mentioned over and over, i.e. Spiderman, Ghostbusters. I felt it was more for my age than theirs, I also felt the quiz could have been more fun although this may have been due to the fact that the passengers on our bus were quite subdued. I think the price was very reasonable with some great stop offs, such as the fire house from Ghostbusters but I would agree with the teenagers and add some more recent movie/tv locations.

OUR TOUR GUIDE WAS VERY GOOD HER NAME WAS LOU A VERY ENJOYABLE DAY OUT BUT WOULD OF LIKED TO HAVE SEEN THE OUTSIDE OF CARRIE'S APARTMENT BUILDING

Really good tour with a very good guide who explained everything in detail. If you are a "Sex and the City" fan this is a must as you really feel that you are part of the show after seeing all the New York locations in real life. The guide knew her stuff as well and the cake from Magnolia bakery was lush

A nice and fun tour, also a nice way to see the city. Nice touch to have the clips on the coach as you go around so that you can relate what you're seeing to the movies. Would recommend.

It was so funny, with really interesting stops!

OMG I seriously loved this tour. I have been living in NY for several months now and before the tour, I had already been to many of the SATC sites simply by traipsing around the city, so I thought that the tour might be a bit "boring" for me. Oh how I was wrong. Not only are there sooooo many sites of NY that I didn't even realize were filmed in the series, but the way that the tour is done is a hoot. Tour guide was fab, she was a real laugh. Love, love, loved it. Only downside is that the tour doesn't go to Carrie's steps anymore. The steps are in Greenwich Villlge, but not once did the tour guide mention this, even though we stopped the bus 2 blocks away from them!! Anyway, you can go and see them in your own time. Apart from this, the tour was a trip.

The Sex And The City tour was great fun.We had a super guide called Lou who was such fun.She absolutely made the tour more special.Stops included a trip to The Pleasure Chest which was a real eye opener!!! Magnolia Bakery for amazing cupcakes and a fab Cosmopolitan in Scout and a stop at Fresh for some pampering.Would recommend the tour 100%.
