On Location Tours

I was a little disappointed. One thing the tour was really good for was driving you around the city and pointing out main points and some tips about the city in general and catching the subway, which helped me get my bearings and work this out a little quicker. In regards to the sex and the city though, the actual tour was I thought kind of bland and cheesy. This is just my opinion and you might enjoy it however,

It was fun to visit sites I recognized in the movies. Some sites I assumed were hollywood sets proved to be real locations! I appreciated learning about some of the technical methods of filming on location.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable about everything New York. Very high energy. Had tons of fun. I can't wait to bring my other friends on the tour!

The only critisim I have is the tour should have been on one of those double buses, sometimes views were blocked, or on the other side, and could have been seen if it were open.

The tour was very good and the time flew by. We saw so many movie and TV sights that when we got home to look at the pictures, I had to Google a couple of places to try and remember why I had taken a picture of that particular building. Would highly recommend this tour to friends and family when they visit New York. We even got to see Tom Selleck filming Blue Bloods when we were on the bus. Thanks Roseanne for the constant stream of information - really knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

I was on Lou's tour and it was great. She did a wonderful job and I would definately reccomend her as a tour guide.

This tour overall was fun and the guide, Lou, was great. However, I was expecting more. I would have liked to stay a little longer at the stops, and to have more of them. There was a lot of bus time, and this got boring after a while. Everyone started having side conversations and I kind of forgot that I was even on a tour. It didn't help that we got stuck in a downpour immediately after exiting the bus for a short shopping trip. Overall, I would recommend this tour, but not enthusiastically.

I loved to visit the best city's neighbourhoods: Meatpacking District, Soho and West Village. Our guide was very winsome and funny. And the cosmopolitan and cupcakes we're delicious!

The tour was awesome. The tour guide was funny and well informed. I was excited to see all the place where tv and movies were filmed. The Friend's apartment was the best thing to see. I would go on this tour again. The bus was very comfortable. Even in bad weather you could take this tour because the bus is closed in.

I would be great if we could see the scene on DVD right BEFORE we went the location.

I highly recommend this tour. My sister and I are movie and tv buffs and going on this tour was such a great addition to our NYC weekend. Our tour guide was also great! Amadeo was definitely very knowledgeable. I'll definitely be checking other tours in the future.

I took the Sex and the City tour with a group in February and it is much, much better. While the guide was great, there is not enough material to carry it for 3+hours and it needs to include a lunch/snack stop at a "famous" place seen in a tv show or movie, or at least a drink in one of the famous bars. It definitely needs an update and some excitement. When you get on a bus at 11 a.m. for a 3 1/2 hour tour, you would expect a little more than a black and white cookie, on the run. The photo shoot only stops (4 I believe) are really, really boring for those who are not that excited about taking a photo in front of a site that is from an old tv show or, how long ago was Ghostbusters filmed? Wow, that goes way back. It has great potential but it definitely needs to be dusted off and revisited. Want to keep the cost down, snack or lunch and drink could certainly be dutch treat.

Planning my sisters bachelorette party, we decided to do this tour during the day. We were a group of 10 between the ages of 24-28 & had some New York locals and some visitors but it pleased everyone and was a great way to start our day before diner and partying! Our tour guide, Selina, made it even better. She was comical, knowledgable and so personal with everyone of the bus-we loved her and the tour!

Overall my girlfriends and I had a fabulous time on the Sex and the City tour. Our tour guide Lou was very informative and fun and knew all there was to know about the series. Stopping for a cosmo and a cupcake was fun as we were able to be transformed into the lives of Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda even if only for a short moment!

i had been on this tour before a few years ago and i think i liked this one heaps better out tour guide was stacey and she was lots of f8un knew everything she needed to kno and more very nice and approachable and she helped us out after the tour with a few questions about other stuff so we were stoked with the tour and stacey made it even better xxxx
