On Location Tours

Many celebrity homes were featured. The tour was long and thorough. It was a very nice tour of Manhattan itself, by bus, as well! The tour guide was peppy and friendly. The only problem for us was that sometimes the guide would mention a celebrity home right as we were passing it, so you couldn't get a good look. Most of the time you could get a good look, but sometimes it was like, "There's Julia Roberts' house..." and whoosh, we had already passed it. At one point, we got off the bus to walk past two celebrities' homes. I thought that was tacky. I felt like a stalker, walking right by their homes in a huge group like that. It would have been better to stay in the bus, but we probably couldn't because of the small streets. Anyway, overall it was a good and fun tour and I would recommend it.

We now live here but my sister and her children had come over for a vacation from England. We enjoyed it and my sister enjoyed just the different areas in Manhattan probably more than knowing that it was a celebrity's home.

Had a great time

This tour was really well planned. We stopped off at some awesome places. I took a picture on Carrie's apartment stoop and saw a lot of monumental Sex and the City places. The clips that they showed from the show really helped out and made it that much more fun. People who are obsessed with Sex and the City will love it, like myself. If you're not a huge fan I would not recommend tagging along. Hats off to the tour guide, she was awesome.

It was very nice to see different locations and learn to know new areas of New York.

If you are a TV or Movie Lover this is a good tour to go see all those famous locations! If you couldn't care less about "Friends", "The Cosby Show" and would never dream of calling "Ghostbusters!!" then this is probably not the tour for you! Our guide was friendly and knowledgable and despite the bone chilling cold we enjoyed our tour. So one last time "Who You Gonna Call?"...................

We had a great time and the tour meet up to its advertising. Tour guides were cheerful and pleasant.

Guide could have been much better, not happy with having to pay for Cosmo in Bar (very week too!!!)

The tour was very informative. If you love the show you will love the tour!

Tour guide was the best ever; fantastic and probably the best tour done during the stay.

It was very enjoyable. It was unfortunate however, that the "star" did not show up to greet the tour and that we were not able to go into the "Bada Bing" to see it inside. (it was closed)????

We all liked the tour very much and the tour guide was excellant. He made the trip fun by asking us questions about the show and allowing us to answer. As much as we enjoyed the tour it was the tip the guide gave us concerning the Monday performance by Dominic Chianese (Uncle Junior) that was so good. Had he not mentioned the show at Sophia's we would not have known about it and would have missed a great evening of entertainment in NYC. By the way, the canolli the guide gave us from the Lyndhurst bakery was a delicious surprise ! Take this tour. It was well worth the time and money.

The idea of the tour was very good, but the tour was lacking when you decided to combine the Television and Movie Portions. I feel like this was not the best solution. But since I was on a combined tour for the movie portion they left out and did not make reference to any of Spike Lee's movies. I know his movies took place in Brooklyn but please acknowdledge the man's movies. Saturday Night Fever was not mentioned I think you all could do more research on the tour material. New York has so so many movies made but please give more of a variety the tour was too expensive to be what it is. Plus I feel something could have been done about my seat the window was fogged but after i asked the tour guide could I move to a better spot she told me the tour was too full, and the bus driver would try to wipe off the outside. The tour guide never followed up with me about my view from the bus which was not good customer service. I live in washington dc so I will be back to new york this spring Thank You, Leslie Garrison

as a christmas present for my movie-loving boyfriend, we decided to take this tour. we are from long island and felt that the commute was simple, and very convenient for those traveling into the city. we were the only new yorkers on the tour that day, and were very excited about discovering great television and movie locations right in our own backyard!
