On Location Tours

I recommend the tour---however, it could have been coordinated much better. For example, the clips shown on the bus TV should have been shown prior to the point of interest, then point out the spot as shown--needs to be more info on details of filming,etc. Just asking questions to see who in the biggest fan on the bus is not much of a tour.

I was recommended the trip by a collegue, however, it did not live up to my expectations. The weather was bad and we could not get off the bus, which is obviously uncontrolable, but i think that the tour should have been cancelled as we were unable to see may of the spots and were only able to get off at the sex shop. The main thing we could have done would have been to have a cocktail, but one of the bars was not expecting us and the bar at the final stop was not open. The tour guide was very informative and I enjoyed the clips from the show. Overall, however, I was disappointed by the trip and would not recommend it on my experince.

We felt the tour was somewhat disappointing. The tour went ahead despite the poor weather conditions (it had snowed heavily the day before), which resulted in us being unable to enjoy most of the stops. This coupled with us being unable to get into one of the locations due to a 'private function' resulted in us feeling somewhat deflated. I would not recommend this tour to friends visiting New York in future.

Tours length was appropriate, however we did the tour during the December 6th Blizzard, so to be fair it was difficult to see and take in everything as we were not able to stop everywhere. A big disappointment was not being able to see the 5th precinct (NYPD Blue) as it apparently was undergoing repairs? Would have liked to know this ahead of time. Tour director was very knowledgeable

Good choice if you're interested in seeing where celebrities live around the city and the appeal of certain areas. Intereseting facts given by the tour guide. Good tour and excellent driving on the part of the bus driver due to the blizzard weather condidtions.

I was extremely excited to be going on the Sex in the City tour however, when we turned up (as requested) 15 minutes early, the bus and tour guide were both running late. This meant that we had to stand out in the freezing cold and it was snowing waiting (this was the Friday before the blizzard) for the bus. When we finally got on the bus and the microphone that the tour guide was using wasn't working properly. I guess the snow played a significant cause to the traffic that we sat in for a long time. Finally we were meant to go to the bar for cocktails and when we got there they wouldn't let us in and said it was closed for a private function. I just feel that the whole tour could have been better organised, that the bus could have left earlier to get to the pick up point on time and that for the money you pay it wasn't worth it. Unfortunatley I will not be recommending this to my friends.

Bus windows were foggy. Could NOT see outside to view the sites. and the bus was 45 minutes late.The mic didn't work at times. The video clips were loud then barely audible. O'neils, the bar we were suppose to have Cosmos at was closed for a private party. At that point we were so frustrated and bored we just gave up and took the subway back to the hotel. A total waste of money. The night was miserable. The tour should have been cancelled. The guide was very nice and tried very hard to overcome the shortcomings of the night

unfortunately, the weather was not good. the tour should not be offered from 3-6 p.m., it should start earlier. this time of year. it gets dark early (4:30-4:45) and falls right into rush hour traffic. we did however, enjoy our tour guide. she was cute and full of personality! the bus was also good. very clean and comfortable. i would still recommend this tour, in the spring/summer, not winter.

The tour and the guide were great. The weather, however, was not. The blizzard that was raging did make it difficult to see everything and the traffic that ensued was awful. Having said that it isn't the fault of the tour operators. I would recommend going if you are a Sex and the City fan.

The tour was great. There were a couple of disappointments. 1) The window of the bus we were sitting by was broken and we could not see out. We had to look through other windows that was uncomfortable. 2) Because of the snow, we were unable to get out and see some stuff, but that was unavoidable. The tour guide was great. She knew her stuff and presented it very well.

It was fun, informative and well worth the money, you did not need to be a huge fan to enjoy, but is helped!

It was one of my highlights of New York. The leader was really lively and knew loads of information about the show (which I don't think even Heat magazine mentioned!) The visits we made also fitted in very well with the show, although I thought the men in the party were pretty brave as we were quite a lively bunch of women!

It was very enjoyable and informative. A good way of seeing the city as well as finding out loads of info on the show itself.

Would definitely recommend it. Lots of interesting behind the scenes gossip and a terrific way of seeing New York. Cup cakes were excellent!
