On Location Tours

We really enjoyed the tour - I'm a true fan of the show and wanted to see the key filming locations. My husband also had a great time even though he doesn't often watch the show because the tour takes in a lot of sights. Our tour guide Patty was very good and made the trip very enjoyable. As it was our first time in NY there was so much for us to take in and what would have been really good was to have a map identifying all the locations that the tour visited together with a few anecdotes/inside information written on it. Now I'm back in the UK there's a few things I can't remember. If you take up this suggestion can you send me one please?!

It was good, a few mishaps but was not really the guide's fault-traffic etc. The video thing is a really good idea but could be a bit more professionally done. The guide was lovely and a good and confident speaker but I think the content could be a more structured, like having a beginning, niddle and end, a more thought out agenda if you like. Has great potential though.

Excellent day. The tour guide coped well when the traffic was bad, the mike kept cutting out and the traffic was very busy. The tour was excellent and really good fun. Would totally recommend it!

I really enjoyed the tour, our guide was very informative yet was sensitive to the local community-who were a little concerned about large groups staring at their houses. Thouroughly recommend it!!

It was really fun. Plus there were alot of cute girls on the tour. Including the tour guide Patty. I definitely recommend this tour!

I would definately recomend it to anyone. We all had a great time and saw some good places. The weather was lovely and warm and the guide was also informative about other things too which was good. The guide and the weather made it. I would definately go.

The tour was 30 minutes late, and extended 30 minutes past the time stated. I love the show, but did not enjoy the tour. Seeing places where people ate lunch did not excite me. I felt like the stops were a little over the top. Why does a woman need to go to a transvestite shop? Maybe shorten the tour considerably, and it would be better.

i loved it....my girlfriend is an obsessed fan of the show so i surprised her with tixs. i enjoyed it....it gave a great history and story behind the show.....scene by scene.........and the tour guide was a lot of fun

It was great to see all of the places that we saw on a regular basis throughout the series. We especially liked seeing the clips to help remind us of the episode. I thought our guide's knowledge and personality was well-suited for the tour--she was especially nice one-on-one during the stopovers (I can't remember her name--tall, long blond hair). She also gave us the name of Chris Noth's bar and we ended up going on Saturday night. We saw some very interesting band play and had a great time. As it turns out, the band is one of the city's best kept secrets (The Niagaras) and has a cult following, including some very big-name celebrities. We never would have discovered them if it weren't for our tour guide--thanks! The tour was late starting by about 30 minutes--we had tickets for the Yankees game so we had to jump off the bus early (combined with rush-hour traffic, I'm not sure what time the bus actually returned to its starting point). However, the people in charge were on top of it and as first-time visitors to New York, we were prepared for these kinds of delays (we live in a big city, Toronto, and know that delays are part of city life). I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoyed the series--my advice would be to book the tour at the beginning of your visit to New York so you can return to places that interested you. Our group was pretty quiet and reserved--our guide did her best to inject some enthusiasm into the experience (you can only do so much with the hand your dealt). Thanks!

IT was fun - def good to see excerpts of the show and then the real place in front of you. I would recommend it to fans of the show!

I thought the tour was good and enjoyed viewing the different sections of NYC. It was a little long...but I understand that the bus must navigate the NYC traffic! I enjoyed how the tour linked the locations with clips from the show. The cupcakes were great!

There should have been more walking on the tour.
