Too much money for a simple city tour Sex and the City Hotspots

I was expecting more stops to be able to take pictures of the location you were showing during the tour. Will be better that you sell the information of the locations so people can visit them by themselves and not asking for money for just a simple city tour. My recommendation is that you can also provide the information of the locations at the end of the tour so whoever that wanted to take pictures can repeat the visit and take their pictures. My money went away and I was not satisfied.

I am not a fan of the show per se, this was a present for my wife. I was actually quite impressed with how relevant the guide made the tour for everyone, fans of the show and for those of us who don't watch it. I learned a lot of really interesting things about Manhattan and most of all got to see much more of the city than most other tours, I suspect. The best aspect was how organic the tour was in terms of its information, a far cry from the more antiseptic tours offered by other groups. I have always been more of a fan of getting information thats a bit more off the beaten path, information I can't find in Frommers. This tour definitely accomplished that, and the guide was fun, cute, and peppy. Also, the driver was a total pro. I was amazed at some of the turns he pulled off!

I organized an outing for a bachelorette party with nine other girls. We were on Lindsay's 3:00 tour and we all loved it, even the girls that weren't big fans of the show. The cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery were the definite higlight.

The tour was excellent and very informative. I would highly suggest it to anyone who loves Sex and the City. The tour guide, Loo, made the experience even better with her enthusiasm and knowledge.

Our tour guide (Lindsay) was very enthusiastic about being our tour guide and therefore made the experience of the entire tour group better. Also, I am a guy who came with my girlfriend and some other ladies, so my expectations were low to begin with. In other words, the tour guide had a large hill to climb for me, but she was great. Also, I would recommend this tour even to people who are not obsessed with Sex and the City because it takes you to place in Manhattan that as a normal tourist, you would probably never see.

The guide had a lot of knowledge about Sex and the City and was very enthusiastic in narrating the group the stories about the TV Series. During this tour, you can really feel that you are in the Sex and the City scenarios.

The tour was a lots of fun. The tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the show and NYC which made the tour even more enjoyable. My only remark about the tour is I wish that there were more off the bus activities and on foot site-seeing.

Enjoyed the tour. would highly recommend it to anyone who loved the show. Totally happy about getting Vito's autograph and pic, and the Tony look-a-like, it was very cool. Saw places in NJ that I didnt expect to see. Very good tour. The guide is a Sopranos expert!!

I purchased tickets to the tour as a birthday present for my wife. We took the tour on Saturday 10/17/09. (Just to set the story: I am a 42yr old married guy, who grew up in West Texas....which in case you do not know, is another countey!; I drove a pick-up, watched John Wayne movies, etc. I'm not one of those "macho" guys, but am somewhat traditional....dont like to carry an umbrella or do anything the guys would consider "sissy"). I have NEVER watched more than 10minutes of a Sex and the City show....I just cant bear it (I have tried on several occasions to sopend time with my wife watching the show.....but inevitably, I find myself going down to the basement to watch the History Channel or ESPN, NFL Network, etc....SERIOUSLY!). My wife on the other hand, is a BIG Sex and the City fan, who became a fan the last year or two that it was still in production. I searched for the tour online, and read many of the reviews which finally sold me on buying the tickets. After buying the tickets, they tell you when and where to meet. I have to admit that after I read where to meet and what to look for....I was thinking that maybe this tour would be a little shady (Order the tickets and you will see what I mean.....I joked with my wife that I felt like I was a spy meeting my contact in NY!). We made the trip to New York, and were at out meeting spot approx 30min ahead of time. The bus pulled up right on time, and I was impressed at how nice the bus was (The only negative was that the bathroom wasnt as clean as I thought it should be; It smelled like pee). From this point on....my wife and I ABSOLUTELY HAD A BLAST!! Our tour guide was a struggling comedian and actor and was HILARIOUS!!! She really made the event fun, and kept us interested the entire time. Without giving too much away....the tour takes you to and past what I believe to be all the important spots that appear in the Sex and The City TV show and movie. As you pull up to a site from the show, the tour guide tells yopu what scene took place here, and it is then followed by you getting to view the scene on one of the bus's TV monitors! You also get to stop at a few of the places: The place where one 2 of the characters ate cupcakes, a bar seen on the show, and a sex toy shop! Stopping helps prevent getting cabin fever from being in a bus for a long time (I did not get cabin fever at all). Seriously- I dont know any of the shows stories, I dont know the character names other than the main 4 characters, and I even get those mixed up....but I had a great time and would recommend as a nice way to spend with your wife or significant other. I was not bored at all, and when the tour ended....I actually left wanting more! (Even though we were in NY.....we left feeling "Great....now what do we do now?".....that's how much fun we had on the tour!). Was worth the $40 per person ($40 for a 3.5hour tour.....not bad!!).

Would recommend this to any fan of Sex and the City. Only thing I would add if possible during the trip or at the end to watch an episode of Sex and the City.The tour made me want to sit and re-watch old episodes so it would've been a nice way to end it with Cosmos and nibbles :-) Great fun overall though and Amy was a great tour guide, absolutely hilarious and very entertaining!!

Went for my 21st birthday with my girlfriends and had the time of our lives! Make sure Amy is your tour guide and you will have a guaranteed blast. She's the best!!!

What a wonderful four hours. The tour is a must for any Soprano fan. The tour guide Marc was informative and extremely knowledgable; with a wealth of interesting insider tidbits. Meeting Joseph (Vito) and visiting Holsten's (the excellent onion rings and photos with "Tony" in the famous booth) were particular treats.The bus was very nice and seeing clips from the show of the places we visited on the screens inside the bus made it all that much more fun. My wife and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the NYC area. Anyone who thinks otherwise is oobatz.
